any good deals in the dam??

hi folks,

im off to amsterdam this friday 12thjan07.

i know the price of a gram varies from around 6 euros up to 25! ive read.

but i really need to know > if i was to ask for, lets say 7grams, would the price per gram deflate any??

also> anyone with any info on what coffeeshops do this kinda deal? do they all do it? or a select few?

The maximum legal amount you can purchase in a coffeeshop is 5 grams at a time.

Although I'm sure you could find some that will do you a bit more as a special offer kind of thing (maybe 7 grams)...take a look on the menus. You will find some price cuts as the grammage increases but not on all the herbs and hashes.

I forgot to mention.

You should check out the Bluebird for a nice selection of cheap, quality hashes. And also some nice herbs.

And for the love of God you MUST go to the Pink Floyd. It's on the same street as Picasso and Barneys I think. Make sure you try their NY Diesel and Caramella Cream Hash.

That was honestly the best coffeeshop I went to. Totally chilled out atmosphere and nearly always a free table no matter the time of day, lovely herbs and very nice food...and of course the best music possible

floyd is one of the 8 shops on my list to visit.

Yes they do a wonderful breakfast I can tell you. I ate in the bar part of the shop a little further down as the main shop is always packed to the brim.

The NY Diesel I was referring to is from Pink Floyd and so is the Caramella Cream Hash (it bubbles...you'll see lol) or there is a slight chance the hash was from Barneys as my memory is not the best from those times.

But yes Barneys is also a very good place to visit...their Sweet Tooth is first class smoke.


I don't see Grey Area on your list.

That is one place you have to check out...it's tiny but they have some amazing bud and hash. Try their keiff crystals.

And Dampkring is another must-visit-coffeeshop.

i see you like hash. Go outside the city center, to the Vechtstraat, coffeeshop Topweasle. Great hash and a lot cheaper then in the center. tram 24 and 25 go there.

I'm not sure if there are even 3 tables to be honest lol. It's really more of a pick up your smoke and leave kinda place...also it can be hard to get a response from the guy behind the counter as he's usually yapping away to some customer, so you may have to attract his attention somehow

I'm sure you know to stay away from the Bulldog and Grasshopper and the like. It's the cosy little cafes you want to find.

I've been twice before myself so I'm happy to answer ny questions you have to the best of my ability if you wish

i have made my own hash a few times only, for i only have a very small grow.
i made a little screen (my gallery) the hash was awsome!

the bulldog will def be avoided. i been dam once before, about 4/5 yrs back with gf.
she passed out on first j!
and when i say passed out, i mean she fell like a lumberjacks prize fell! backwards onto a table full of people. then was sick all over the place.
i sat her outside after she came round, went back in and cleaned for an hour or so.
bulldog is a big NONO!

Bulldog (the big one on leidseplein) can actually be a very nice place to have a drink and a joint. Just dont buy your weed or hash there.

And make sure you visit OP at the seedboutique offcourse, always a good place to get some more info about where to go, and offcourse to have a joint and a beer with him.

Nes cafe, on Nes Centrum. Stones throw from Dam Square. Has fine flushed herb and great hash. Worth looking up.
