there was a thread discussing watermelon a few weeks ago that got deleted, but from what i understand it is astroboy from subcool... it is quite nice. def one i would like to get my hands on one of these days.
I dropped this plant by accident when it was much younger and broke a branch or two off during early flowering. I think I could have done much better with her yield wise. She is frosting up nice anyway.
More GG#4 pics. She really filled in quite a bit in a short time. Love the smells off of her, can't wait to finally try her after all of the hype around IC.
Looking nice cron. Apparently she really makes a late push to the finish line. I hear you on the hype too, Im giddy with anticipation but Im only coming up on 4 weeks of flower and Im going to take her to 67-70 days.
Looking great Cron. My clones didnt make it of the GSC unfortunately. If she really blows my socks off, I will have to try a reveg. Otherwise I will have to try to get her back at some point.
You have to sacrifice some nug at the bottom. Mostly larf anyway. Keep as much as you can on the bottom of the plant and then put her back in veg, 18-24 hrs light. Give normal veg nutes and she will be fine, as long as you have enough plant matter to keep her alive she will reveg. It will take a while and she will look weird as fuck for a bit.
I might give it a try. She does look pretty great and isnt yielding too bad despite my expectations. She isnt keeping up with the GG#4 or the Lime Cookies but I still might try to reveg just to try it out. WIth a nice long veg and how dense the buds are, a good yield is possibly I think. I read somewhere the other day that some people noticed that she did better under 600's thank 1k's. Apparently she doesnt like the light to be too intense.
I would imagine it changes the hormones in the plant as it is not meant to go from summer to fall back to summer again (so to speak) so it has technically completed it's life cycle once, it doesn't need to put forth more effort to reproduce as the first time around since it already had its chance. Just a guess.
