Anti-Drone Camouflage: What to Wear in Total Surveillance

“Total surveillance is a term I first heard from Anders Sandberg during this presentation at a Tabula Rasa conference,” says Harvey. “He predicts that by 2050 a country can execute total surveillance on a population for .01% of their GDP.”

What does he mean by total surveillance? “I asked him what he meant — I was also confused — and it basically pertains to recording audio/video 24/7 of every citizen. This was based on some research he’s done.” It’s Moore’s law for the surveillance age. As sensors get cheaper and more ubiquitous, and as we wire ourselves and our spaces up with cameras and other gear, it becomes harder and harder to not record everything.

I think a group of people that daily log onto a cannabis forum could careless about a law or elite group of lifeless rich losers spying on them... we just do what we want and fuck the rest of them.. right?

damn ceiling people are worse than aliens, always coming and going and watching me in my sleep..

seriously though stand up for your rights people because the time is now.. run away and they will bring the bars closer and closer until you're penned up tightly..

dont be afraid or paranoid just dont stand for being someone's slave by their design, and that is what is happening as we get squeezed..

This is interesting. The infrared reflective fabrics are increasingly being used in outdoor clothing. I'd never thought of this angle. I suppose a hiding guerrilla grower could crouch under a mylar space blanket while a chopper flies overhead if need be. But you're screwed once it gets to this point. Now if the plants were somehow invisible they wouldn't be looking for the grower.

Where this is going is that all public surveillance cameras (including traffic with license plates) will feed to a centralized system, as well as your cell phone location and all business transactions. The computers will process this data to look for suspicious patterns of activity. If you are flagged then it will reconstruct all your daily activities and notify LEO. If you are ever a suspect they will have the ability to reconstruct all your past activities for analysis. It will be easier to fuck with the little guys when technology does all the detective work.

Luckily the legalization movement is taking hold because we are in a race with this technology. They already have a laser/sensor system for use in airports that can monitor the chemical status of your body (looking for stress hormones) from a hundred feet away. Maybe the future will eventually bring chemical sensors in everybody's sewer outflow to monitor for drug use metabolites. Living off the grid at the end of a dirt road becomes more and more appealing doesn't it?

i agree with you on most you have there crusader ......the trackability of us all to the point of what you state is with us now, not all of it is as coagulated enough for immediate use....yet.

look at historical accounts of when tech was introduced to us vs. when it was first up and running.....usually a huge margin of time, yes?
currently we have the internet, it gives us all a false sense of comfort that there's not too much going on with tech that we dont know about.....its to easy to get out with whistleblowers/ifones/cameras/etc.........well, i'd say to this keep in mind people(.gov types) who study such people as Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli........Edward Bernays......and implement policy with striking similarities to ethics/tactics these such men write about........

point being, 'They" have oodles of tech at hand.......and the end of the dirt road sounds great.....its where i live........but i hold no false sense of security with this. it gives me a "head start" possibly. the FAA forecasted last year that by 2014/2015? there would be between 20-30k licensed drones in u.s. airspace. regardless of high numbers/exaggerations, they expect drones to be quite common soon. when we come to the point there's that many CIVILIAN drones in the sky.....how many magnitude more of the "secret' types?

check out global guerillas, good info on drones/DIY/countermeasures, etc

all right now, everybody's gonna need to up their game a bit.

good luck lovely friends.
