Former pro wrestler severely beaten in apparent dispute over parking spot

MAR VISTA, Calif. — A former pro wrestler was beaten severely in front of his Mar Vista home Tuesday and neighbors said it all apparently began over a parking dispute. CBS Los Angeles reports as many as six young men beat Tom Magee, who will be 60 in July. YouTube video shows Magee when he weighed 265 pounds and fought with what was then called WWF in the '80s. A true Goliath in the ring, Magee later became a neighborhood watchdog. "Tom came and encountered the young men, and it proceeded to a fight," says friend Kendall Noxxel. This is one reason why carry permits are sooooo useful. There would be 2 thugs on their way to judgement while the others run from the old guy and the police at that point but this would have not happened if the man had a carry permit.

my doctor has warned me that even a chiropractic manipulation could cause paralysis, I could NEVER withstand a beating. I have my ccw permit, florida/utah licenses too, I can ccw in about 38 states.

I carry 24/7 and in locations that prohibit firearms I usually carry my .357 Derringer, because I've always been known to bend/break the rules where it makes sense, just like tokin' up since '68.

not sure what that would entail GS, I qualified here in MN, applied for a Pennsylvania permit which added about 9 states, then I did the same getting a Utah, then Florida reciprocal permits. That brought the total to 38 states I believe.

this has been the way since at least '08 when I made those applications. So I guess that would qualify as a 'yes' GS unless there was something different I'm unaware of.......

It basically requires all US States to recognize concealed carry permits granted by other states. It passed the house, though I haven't heard much about it since.

that would be nice, I've got some friends in scary neighborhoods back east that I'd like to visit, and when I travel alone nothing's better than a stainless steel traveling companion in Brooklyn.

my main ccw is bulky, a Taurus 941 w/a 4 3/8" barrel in .22mag, it's very accurate; when I wanna be sneaky (always), as mentioned above I carry that Derringer, I can keep that one in my pocket & my hand right on it at all times, it's in the 'half cock' position and so it's @ the ready in a split second.

crazy to have to think this way in the world today.......

i wasnt aware Derringers were prohibited.And i didnt know they came in .357.does that hurt your hand?id imagine it would be akward to shoot.always wanted one though

I have been carrying pistol grip pepper spray that is so powerful it reads on the intructions that it is inhuman to use on bears. That makes it perfect to use on assholes.

you can buy then in 44 special and 45 long colt/410 shotgun, and if you really like pain, i have seen them in 30-30 winchester. it makes my wrist hurt just typing that...
