Alright guys, Ive just finnished my 2nd grow, IM really not gettin to much off the plant waitin for em to dry out now and I will let yas no exactly how much. Ive got a few questions really, Since finnishing Im looking at other seeds, I notice blueberry finnishs wit lovely blue flowers and stuff on it, How come I didnt see any of them on the ones I just finnished, maybe I should of let them grow more ??? I use the microscope method, Usually harvest at 50% clear 50% cloudy.. Usually end up wit nice smoke.

deefirl is the "stuff" you refer to the trichromes?Did you do a bagseed grow this last time?If so whenever you go with unknown genetics you git what you git.If not maybe you got some crappy seedbank genetics.Without repeating myself from earlier you should learn to clone, harvestime shouldn't be a mystery. You should never have to guess and hope for the best.Your goal should be to know absolutely exactly what and exactly when,I hate mystery in my grows haha.

Hey I just got my second little luvdot, think I'll head over to the den and do something about that hahahaha.Do they practice luvdot negation for naughty little neocons??

genetics is genetics. theres other aspects as well. a lot of coloring is temp stress, and most of the time you have to find the right pheno to even hope for color. humboldt has some stuff that does really good job bringing the colors out, you should check it out. for the most part though, youll have to look for specific strains, and then sort through the different phenotypes. know what im saying?

FYI-Some strains never turn amber. Trichs are fully mature when they are full and clear. As they change to cloudy and amber the THC degrades. Milky/amber trichs will give you the same effect (couchlock).

Very true OS,but in this case degradation is not a dirty word.I've tried the gamut of clear/clear cloudy//cloudy/cloudy amber/ amber/ ugh I think it ends there haha.I dont even hardly feel the shit when clear and it seems the more degration that takes place, the better I like it.I'm a couldy/amber fan to the max. This will be a matter of preference but there is also some science behind it.Degradation of the trichromes is what brings out the pleasurable cannaboids,at least thats my understanding and in practice amber beats the pants off clear IMO.

I have to agree with The American here, whenever I smoke the earlier stuff I cough and get a headache, more than I get high. Right now I am smoking some that was about 60% amber, and I gotta tell ya, I am typing, not coughing. Not to mention, feeling preeeety good right now
IMO also

It is probably the genetics you are growing out deef. Some strains just arent really producers at all. Try growing out an indica they usually seem a lil denser and fat and most are done around eight weeks or sooner from when you see the first flowers on it. Plus on those pics you posted the plants have tons of new growth shootin off of it it seems like cause all of the pistils are all white still. Usually the pistils will go through the whitening then darkening phase about four or five times before the pistils will start staying brown(orange yellow red). Plus there are tons of other factors that contribute to your yield such as nutriennt regimen and how effectively you are using your lights. Co2 and ventilation is a major factor that people overlook a lot.GL with your grow.

Well dude what are you growing?
what lights do you have?
Nutrients?
Additives?
All these things can effect the size of your buds
