Another ph question

Hello all,
I'm new to adjusting ph. I'm in allmix soil so haven't had to feed but I had been adjusting my tap water which is 7.8 to 6.5. This morning I gave them a half strength feed with biobizz grow, heaven and roots juice after I had mixed in the nutes the ph was 6.8. I didn't adjust this because one large drop of ph down takes my water down to 6.9 anyway and I thought if I added even a small drop of ph down it would lower the ph too much.
was I right not to adjust? I know if I had added that one drop of ph down it would have probably been at ph 5.8.
Any help is awesome,thanks.

Here is what i do, and my tap water is just around 8ph too.

Get a air pump and a airstone or 2, and start the pump when you take the water.
I take the amount of water i need the day before i need to use it. Taking it in the morning, and using it come evening, is good too. When you are set to water, ph it down to where you want it. Leave it again for another 30min ish to balance out. Rince and repeat until you are stabel. Then add the nutes and go for it.
Also. Biobizz advice against ph adjusting after nutes have been added.
Good luck :)

Yeah that's what I thought about biobizz, if at half strength they're taking ph down to 6.8 so when I mix full strength I won't be needing to ph down at all. I do blow into my water with a straw basically anytime I near the tub of water. I will let it sit after adjusting my water next time. Cheers

You could use a milder pH Down like Earth Juice Down, which is Citric Acid. Allows you to adjust in smaller increments. Good luck. -granger
