Another noob question on clones.

O.K, so I took my cuts without really knowing what I was doing, I have since watched a few tutorial videos, and I am more in the know.

The cuts I have only had one or two nodes on, and a few were really small. My question is this: They seem to be rooting, does it matter to the quality of plant that the cuttings were smaller, and not done how more experienced people would have done it, or does it just lower my chances of rooting, and if I get them to root I can run with them? Just want to be sure I am not breeding runts. Plants they came from are all good.

Thanks a lot.

You might have to Veg them a bit longer than you would have taking a bigger stronger Cut, Bigger Clones get there faster, but you should be fine if theve rooted, just give em an extra week of Veg so they can catch up.
I like take em at about 8"-10", but i rooted plenty of smaller ones half of that size! no probs!

G'Luck!

I have a very limited space and try to cut my clones as short as possible. Two nodes above the rooting medium and one below. Maybe 3 to four inches at most. Dont worry man they will grow bigger after they root, that is the best part about cloning, turning tiny pieces of plants into monsters.

I have successfully rooted & had regrow sections of stem nude of leaves, flower buds, single leaves, etc. As long as it's growing don't sweat it ;)

You will need to maintain a high humidity, don't forget that part too OP, that's like half the battle to getting them to root imo
