Lewiston, Maine - the states second largest city, may be voting on whether or not to legalize recreational marijuana use. This follows last years vote in Portland which passed and leads up to a 2016 statewide vote for legalization.
Supporters seek to include the city referendum on Novembers ballot. Taking into account that less than 900 signatures are needed, its almost guaranteed to go up for vote.
A number of other cities may see referendums on their ballots also.

I have no doubt whatsoever that this will be on the ballot. The Dirty Lew (Lewiston) has long been home to a big population of smokers of many ages and socio-economic backgrounds.
I do think the one ounce limit is low considering MMJ rec holders are allowed 2 1/2 ounces.
Its a start!
