another drooper OUTDOORS

WILL POST PIX WEDNESDAY AT LATEST

i have 10 plants. aprox 2 1/2 3 weeks old.
ive made my own organic mix in 3" peat pots like always..alittle fast acting lime...and ive fed every girl (fingers crossed) with alittle fish emulsion and beneficial bacteria (forget the brand... will post tomorrow if needed) once a week about.

well one, isnt looking too well, theyre on theyre 5 finger leaves, maybe 6-8" tall. this plant is drooping horribly. tomorrow im gonna give it alittle more lime, hit it with the above veg mix ( emulsion and bac) and maybe alittle 10-52-10 chem just for good measure because i havent given them any yet...usually wait atleast another few weeks.

color is good every other plant is thriving, even the one that got chewed 1/2 thru the stem by either mouse or this gopher in my yard.

just wanted to see peoples suggestions and try some new stuff hopefully.

maybe ill do a grow diary this year....

We await the pictures on wednesday...but for now...

My wild guess, based on what you've told us so far...they're a little young to be getting hit with so much and many things. overferted and being over loved, in other words, you may be trying too hard to treat its symptoms and killing it with kindness as a result.

You mentioned they're in 3" peat pots and outdoors too...makes me wonder if they're not showing you some wilt from not being carefully hardened off to the outdoor environment. You can't just germinate a seedling indoors and expect it to handle the stress of planting it outdoors without first 'hardening it off' to the outdoor environment. Not hardened off usually = wilting & droopy

hth, but post the pictures please

depending where you are, this spring has been chilly.....

don't add lime unless you know your soil is too acidic.....take a soil sample...add ph 7 distilled water, let sit for an hour, water again and measure runoff ph. This will tell you the soil ph.

I think like 10K said...too much love and for the love of all weed, don't use that chem fert unless you want them dead dead dead....it is way too strong. Your outdoor soil already probably has enough nutes for most of your plant's growing.

You need a balanced 4-1.5-3 veg fert or something similar....feeding fish is just a strong dose of nitrogen but you still need to give P and K, plus secondaries (cal, mag) and micros for a balanced feeding. Give too much of one nute and not only will you burn but you will lock out other nutes, compounding the problem.

this is my normal mix that i give all plants... i give them less than a teaspoon of each in 2 gallons of water...very low strenth just alittle boost me up.
all of the other plants are looking beatiful, just this one almost looks like this is just how it grows...no browning out anywhere or drooping of the top, its just the leaves almost curl straight down...maybe its just a bag pheno from the bagseed..? and the blades are very jagged. hope i find a pic that looks close

btw my friend dropped my digital cam in the lake taking a pic of a fish the day after first post...so im about to search the infirmary for one that looks like what i got and just post that.

and they were never indoors, straight outdoor all the way
