Ummm, I think the AK-47 is pretty easy too find in many very poor "non-western" countries. Like Cannafornia said pandora's box is open in regard to guns, so the cat is out of the bag...

News said that he did sucide by shooting his own head THREE times.
How is that even possible. It's like stabbing himself 15 times to back...crazy...

Go shove it, bloke. **** you and the rest of your aussies, I mean pussies. American adults are adults, unlike your island of loyal order-following cowards. No wonder I hear girls down there are dying to **** any guy who's not australian.

With discriminatory and childish language like that how old are you, 13? Are you sure you're in a position to be talking about adults?
Anyway go on, you just keep on attacking Aussies (whatever that's got to do with anything, heh), but how about allow the rest discuss the actual thread topic? Probably doesnt even know there are Aussies fighting in Iraq & Afghanistan alongside Americans, one was killed just a couple days ago.

Anyway thankyou for proving my point that "not that anybody seems to have a problem with it", it wasn't at all a surprise to see somebody here justifying America's gun problems. ps. You sound like you're crazy bro, it's people like you who shouldn't have guns, you've lost your marbles mate.

And as to this beauty of yours ...
Your kneejerk reactionary position is ridiculous
How can it be a kneejerk reaction when shootings in America are happening EVERY SINGLE DAY?!? And the week isn't even over yet but we've already seen at least two seperate school shootings.

So many stories like that.
rofl, yeah, and notice what they all share in common? Guns, and people getting shot.

Everyone knows that this isn't a brand new thing right? My mom has an old letter from her sister where she's relating a story of a boy bringing a gun to school and dying. This was in the early 1960's.

So, turns out there have been fuct up kids doing violent things for at least 40ish years now. It seems pretty likely to me that there have always been kids, who are probably as much victims themselves, committing violent acts.

It has nothing to do with the west or with guns or any of the things you guys are trying to blame. Its a part of life that sometimes the world is cruel to kids and they freak out and do awful things.

And all I can say to the people who think Americans need their guns taken away is I'm glad I don't live in some castrated girly-man country where your government can just roll over you at any time without a whisper of resistance.

"Guns don't kill people; people kill people." I truly don't understand the people who blame gun companies and the government's "weak" gun laws for all the violence these days. I say if I were to blame someone for all the violence, I'd point all ten of my motherf***ing fingers at the entertainment industry. Games, TV shows, movies (with several exceptions e.g. Up In Smoke, That 70s Show, etc)...they're breeding our generation into lowlife idiots who think violence is the only answer to any and all problems. Blaming the gun itself or the gun laws for all the violence in the US is probably the dumbest s*** I've ever heard of.

Heh some of you guys are amazing, I guess you're just so desensitized to all the violence around you and on your TVs. "It is my birthright to own and keep a weapon" - i guess it's also the right of all the crazy unstable people in jail to own one too then, serial killers include. After all it's their birth right, right? Well it's you guys who have to live surrounded by so many guns and with such a high level of violence not me, so whatever - ENJOY!

Nope. You can play video games and watch movies all your life and never kill anyone. Creative expression can not kill.

People are responsible for their actions, and some people are just crazy. There's no thing in our culture that you can point at and say "X is the problem, if we do away with X there will be no more violence in schools." It's nonsense.

Adults take care of themselves, it's called responsibility. We decided not to have a queen to tell us what to do. Weapons are weapons, guns are effective from a distance. That's all, beyond that it is the person who decides to commit an act of violence.

Are you aware that you lost the only real man left in australia, when they came for your guns? That's right, they killed the real "crocodile dundee", the badass who inspired that character.

I have no respect for gun grabbers, who act like suckups to whatever government is in charge and expect to be protected by government.

Your kneejerk reactionary position is ridiculous, ,nothing would ever satisfy someone like you because say the guns are gone. . . when someone uses a lead pipe to kill then you will be trying to outlaw heavy pipes.

**** You!

You're a ****ing moron go **** yourself ignorant prick.

Pheno I think some people are jealous of the Australian life style and how little gun deaths we have a year.

Ummm, no, did you notice the thing where you said about the crazy, unstable people in jail? We know not to give them guns, that's why they're in jail and stuff.

Sometimes someone who seems plenty normal can haul off and do something insane. You can't predict sh!t like that in any culture. It's just a sad reality of life.

No im not saying that.

One thing im pretty sure of is that with 240,000,000 guns in the US (Thats last I heard and that was quite a while back.) the to have or not to have question is pretty much over.

EDIT thats 200 million and it was a 1994 survey.

not for nothing cannafornia, but kids are the cruelest creatures on the face of the planet.
every child gets picked on or bullied by another growing up, its a way of life.
every single person went thru this at one point of their lives.

so does that mean that every person on earth takes revevnge on bullies?
blow their fucking heads off?
i don't believe every one does this.
just the weak minded whose parents didn't raise them to be strong willed.
those are the problem children.
it's the parents problem to handle such things.
no others should be blamed besides the criminal/parents.
maybe if parents today took out enough time to steer their kids in the right direction, we as a society would have to find something else to "pass the buck" on.
no offense, and i was gonna stay out of this thread.
but that post was the biggest piece of horseshit i have ever read on the net, let alone this site.

Hotcha, what you say makes alot of sense, nobody takes responsabilty for their actions these days...I also think that the media has alot to do with this, we are soooo saturated with news [whether good or bad] that we get desensitized by all the violence we encounter everyday. People have been doing the same things for years and years, we just hear about it more nowadays, just my 2cents

Hey Mrs. Babba,

I get what you're saying. There has always been violence and evil etc. but before information traveled slowly. Now we have the technology to communicate the bad news to the whole world instantly so it gives the impression that there is more violence in the world, or that modern man is somehow worse or more evil than people of earlier generations.

Ahhh...crazy people in jail should never have guns...I think they make them check them at the door before entering jail.

Serial killers....what do I know from serial killers...they could kill just as effectively with a car...should we outlaw cars...of course not.

Inevery society there are certain individuals that perpetrait hanass acts of violence upon others using all many of weapons.

Its just phuquing easier with a gun.

Have you ever seen what a .45 cal will do to a watermelon...ah beatiful man, phuquing crimson burst that is just amazing.

Anyway, this arguement is old and been beat to death numerous times.

Don't like guns...stay the phuque out of the US then. Oh you
can come to visit...but ah go home afterwards.
