I for one think it will make this a stronger forum as long as you don't take every "Red Box" to heart and call everyone given out to be explained in detail...

Accountability rocks but it's easier to let shit go when you don't have a face attached to it...

Does it really matter? I mean if you don't really give a rat's ass about reputation points then knowing or not knowing who gave you negative reps is meaningless. If on the other hand you do care a whole lot about it then you're going to be just as stressed by it regardless of whether you know the name or not. In fact I'd wager knowing the name will be even more stressful then an anonymous neg rep hit.

You used to be able to give negative reputation and a comment. The person knew who you were. When I click on reputation to give some I only have a choice for postive. Which is mostly what I give.

However, I have recently gotten 2 red negative reputations. How are other people giving out red negative rep?

I didn't know that helpful yes or know was anonymous. It makes do difference to me. I prefer people know.

If you don't have the balls to stand behind your position, you shouldn't be passing out rep at all. If I positive rep you, I usually use the scale and give you a little comment. On the very rare occasion I neg rep anyone, I do the same. You know it was ME that neg repped you and why.

Now the pussies that hit not helpfull on every post in the thread will not be able to hide behind an anonymous button
