My Siamese get a few of the young leaves everyday. When I tend the garden he comes right over and begs for his leaves. I also grow wheat grass for the cats, they like it and it satisfies their want for greens. And they leave the rest of our plant alone. You can guarantee that your cat ate the starts.

my cats (all f-ing 14 of them) will absolutely MUNCH any leaves they can reach. They have developed a taste for afghan/indica/hashplant leaves and will chew those up and not touch the more herbal/bitter sativas

Rooting hormone is seriously toxic to mammals. Keep it away from the pets. Also, your pets eyesight could be seriously damaged by HID lighting. Good luck. -granger

& nobody has mentioned the fact that cats go outside & can bring in all kinds of critters that will devour your plants & its root system as well !! get your plants away from the animals & into a plant environment or you'll pay the price later .
