Animal cameras

I want to get one (price permitting) so as to monitor the critters around my gig. Has anyone here had experience with the devices?
Are they triggered by movement to take still pictures? Do they use infrared technology to take pictures in the dark? I suppose they could use flash, but that would not be cool for growers. How much would one cost?

Game cameras are great. I got like 15 around my place.
All mine use infared at night. You can set em to take video or stills
You can get some cheap ones for 30 -40 bucks off ebay.
I took all of mine and used liquid nails to create a bark texture then painted to better blend into the environment

They work great and people hardly ever notice them.
