Angolese / Meao Thai " Loco Psychodelic "

This trippy pure sativa was generously gifted to me by Dubi. I started two seeds last August and happily both turned fem. They grew very fast and outperformed other sativas in my collection. The Angolese in the cross added unusual attributes to the late flowering Meao Thai. As African genetics are known the flowers showed late but finished rather quick with a cut date of Nov 7th.
The flowers smelled spicy and mildly sweet growing. When I first started drying them a very mild coffee and skunk smell developed with powerful sweet onion overtones. As the chlorophyll started to dissipate the sweet onion smell became more pronounced. The smell reminds me of the regional delicacy "Vidalia" sweet onions that grow in the iron rich soils in South Georgia USA.
The colas havent finished curing but they already have taken on very pure sativa attributes in the effect. A friend suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from service in Afghanistan tried this sativa and it has helped ease the terrible paranoid audible hallucinations and agitation he is suffering. Definitely recommended as a mild treatment for PTSD or ADD.

I read the thread posted awhile back on Ace forum about the Angola Thai. I want to assure rainha Ginga that these genetics were gifted to me and not sold.
I grow strictly for medical needs. I have had two close friends die of cancer in the last four months. The genes that I received from Dubi and Mr. Garcia I use for med purposes only. They have helped others tremendously deal with their suffering and pain.
Thanks for the positive vibes Feral and Bacchus.

I only hope that one day I will be fortunate enough to try some of the rarer African strains for my afflictions-thankfully certain lines have been kept alive and moved forward!

Beautiful!

Beautiful bro!! Reminds me a lot of angola roja x banghi in its growing and flowering paterns. k+:tiphat:!

I just sampled a small nug. Its taking on minty, oniony and melon tones in the flavor. Wow...talk about heightened senses. Truly psychedelic. Everything has a warm glow. Not for me though, Too strong. I like a mellow introspective sativa buzz. This one feels like helmet head material. Smoke too much at night and wake with serious aftereffects. Not for the inexperienced, could cause delusions and hallucinations. Truly unique.

Wild stuff! I have a ACE Panama Red pack up for my next grow. I have never heard anyone say their ACE plants were weak. hehe

Wow, that description looks like EXACTLY what I'm looking for as far as affects go.

@dubi- Will this strain eventually be released? I would be one of the first in line to buy a pack or 2 or 3(hehe) of this strain!

You're one lucky fella, southernmeds. You definitely have me drooling over your ladies :p

Welcome crunkyeah,

There wont be any angolese release in the future but i think Golden Tiger or a zamal x sativa hybrid is what you are looking for ;)
