flowering has commenced here in the PNW.

here are some pictures







Papaya


Early Misty

started from seed june 1, transplanted july 1. a papaya male blew a couple pollen sacks before it was removed :\, I think the girls are early enough along that they'll still be alright, though there were some withered pistils on a few of them already. there was probably a little pollination, hopefully not enough to impact flower production significantly. anyone else experienced this? if the male was left a couple days longer it would have been bad, damn thing didn't even have preflowers 2 weeks ago, it was a runt, shot up and flowered quick, look out

yeah, they kinda got outta control . . . they were supposed to be short & bushy . . . not 7 feet tall!

I only need an ounce or two :)
