Many went shopping before leaving for the cup, from as far away as Hawaii to the big state of Texas, to Italy....from all over they came to join us in Amsterdam, and yes....bearing weighted down suitcases FULL of goodies!

John Budd.....Hawaiian Grown.....xxbluevelvetxx....Bog.....Baccas....Fredster....Trichomefarmer......payaso and many others (sorry if I leave anyone out, it is nothing personal or intentional...but things got a bit hazy in the daze of the haze!)

Over here things are not as readily available for good 'back home' munchies, but just take a look at some of the things brought over! What a TREAT! Some may think they are just normal foods, easy to get by jumping in the car and making a trip to the local grocery, well, not over here. When you go months and months and months without the likes of some good starch filled Kraft Mac & Cheese, well, it tastes even better! :biglaugh:

Several let me put together a shopping list, while others just showed up with things from the good 'ole USA that they knew wasn't available in Europe.

If you've ever had the pleasure of ordering pancakes in Amsterdam....LOL...and watching them arrive on a plate like thin sheets of paper...well, nothing beats American style pancakes, of course covered with just the right amount of syrup....Baccas made sure my mornings get started the RIGHT way by toting a HUGE box of pancake mix and syrups!

And just TRY to find Girl Scout cookies over here....ain't happening! But John Budd fixed that!

Here's the first pic of some of my goodies (more pics will follow) :biglaugh: Thank you all from the bottom of my heart...my stomach and I thank you tremendously! :yummy:

.........goodie pics to be continued :yummy: :yummy: as soon as I finish off the last of the Hostess Twinkies and 1 lonely remaining Hostess Chocolate cupcake compliments of payaso

Those who have been at previous 420 celebrations with us know that Trichomefarmer can always be counted on to supply melt in your mouth chocolates! This year was no exception...we had all kinds...big hugs to TF! This one was really great...especially satisfying after a nice smoke when the muchies really hit! White Swiss chocolate, strawberries & vanilla bean bits :yummy:

Hey BLUE....xxblue!

Hey BLUE....xxblue!

These gifts from xxbluevelvetxx are all BLUE!

The Italian chocolates delicious, and the crystal so elegant, just like the lady who brought them to me. I think the only non-blue gift was the linguine...yes, authentic linguine from Italy! :yummy:

Thanks blue for all the blue! Was a pleasure, a true joy meeting you! This is one classy lady folks! :friends:

awwww shucks Dutch, you're way too kind! Classy is exactly the term I use to describe you, aside from just plain gorgeous....

I didn't notice the gifts were all blue LOL :D Didn't do it on purpose. Even the linguine are blue, or at least the wrapper is :biglaugh: I guess the only thing not in theme is the rainbow maker, but hey...it makes blue too :D

Can't thank you enough for all of the kindness you've shown me on the boards, doing business, and at the Cup, and really those things are just small tokens of friendship and appreciation for you and Gypsy. You give alot to people and IMO being on the receiving side every once in a while is nice. Just to let you know you're appreciated

Ms. G....we love you too! And next year the three of us are gonna have take time out to ditch the guys and go have some fun
hehehehehehehehe I see H3ad already worried :D

Haha, great thread! I'm trying to get the significant other to even consider the idea of going over next year, but I already have a few things in mind for you from my area. Pizza, for starters. Chicago style deep dish. Guaranteed 1000 calories a slice

You woulds NOT BELIEVE the size of the portions you get in family style restraunts nowadays. Dont know how long you've been away DG, but the sheer amount of food on the plate is just unbelievable. 14" across and spilling off the edges.

No wonder we're so damn fat......
