Analyze This!

Bagseed, thrown in the iris patch late Feb. About 30" tall now & always showed light/dark green leaf varigation since birth.

It either has every nute deficienty known to man, or is an unusual strain. The other seeds that germed next to her - a sativa & indica - seem to be fine.

What do you guys think?

Well, the other ones seem to be doing fine except for a little too much stretch, but you'd think that crammed in with all the flower bulbs, too much water wouldn't be the problem. It has been a cool & rainy spring so far and I have no idea about the soil PH, but aren't there a few varietys of MJ that exhibit green varigation of the leaves?

could be a few things...but if you don't know the ph of the medium is't hard to make some sort of diagnose.....atleast give us more info on feedings and setup

The set-up is entirely in the hands of mother nature. Except for some alfalfa/molasses/fish/guano tea I tossed on the iris & lilly bulbs, no other nutes. I'll try & squeeze some water from the near-by soil & PH test it, but I swear this plant changes every day. Never saw leaves with so many nooks & crannys. I think I'll name this one English Muffin.

I'm gonna take a stab at it. Right up against the white vinyl siding... probably in a spot with full sun... showing leaf-edge curl plus other defs... they are, at the very least, quite warm.

Iris patch, did you add bone meal for your irises? And do you water them as much as many iris species like? MAny are in fact wetland plants, so where they are happiest, cannabis is not.

Hot spot
Too much water
Possibly too much fert in soil

Hey SA,
Did a PH soil test - Acid! - Mixed some lime with RW & a 20-20-20 fert - dumped it on & the top leaves are already lookin' sorta normal. I can't believe how fast MJ reacts to changes. Looks like I'm gonna have to treat my rainwater with some PH-up stuff - is the GH line a good place to start? I'm gonna need something that is a real high concentrate in order to treat 2 - 55 gals at a time.

The right kind (PH) of water + some 20-20-20 & she likes me now...

I couldn't believe how just one good drench of 5ph RW could affect it so much. My indoor babys practically keeled over with just 1 bad watering - severly curled leaves, etc - did a huge flush - finally back to normal! Glad I got the GH PH test kit.
