And this makes it impossible to stay healthy for longer periods of time.

Howdy!

May I say, as a senior, I find the text of your post too light and too small to read easily or comfortably.

I hope this sparks a robust discussion.

My first remark: for seniors, I really don’t think that combusting is a viable way of consumption. At 68, I find that smoking cannabis is harder on my lungs, and much more uncomfortable, than smoking tobacco. I find dabbing to be clumsy, and e-pens I find problematic. Unregulated on-demand vapes seem to be the most effective and most satisfying. Edibles I love, but I’ve never had sufficient edibles to uncover a dependable form and dosage; I do love the flavor of cannabutter and I’ll eat it by itself - it doesn’t get me high so far, but it will go straight to my aches and pains, which are almost entirely musculoskeletal.

Regarding CBD, I have never consumed enough of it in any form or at any dose to ease those aches and pains as well as a teaspoon of so-so cannabutter on an empty stomach. I don’t say this to dismiss CBD, but to suggest that its no more the Big Med by itself than THC is the Big Stone by itself.

Location matters, but I can say that in my neck of the woods there is virtually NO flower at all: there are concentrates. As fond as I am of “raw drug cannabis”, concentrates are going to be key going forward, for ease of use, storage, dosing, repeatability, etc.

Not selling my pipes *quite* yet, though
