Ya JK the Deep Chunk is coming out in most of them. I'm real happy with that! I will have all kinds of fun with them when I start to LST these guys. then clone....then flower and of course smoke.
But I have more fun growing them than actually smoking them....believe that one...will ya.

Your babies look really happy! Those upturned leaves make me think they've got to be smiling as they bask in the flouro's you've provided them.

Question - why do you rinse with plain water after your foliar feedings?

I'm definitely pulling up a chair to watch this show.

Thanks,
PHB

hey vonforne, i dont know if you have already investigated this, but if you want really healthy roots and a big strong rootball, mix some fulvic acid in with that humic acid you already have and it will work wonders!

farewell

Hey PHB welcome to the show. I rinse the leaves off to prevent any type of burning and to keep the stoma clean. That way the kids are able to breath good.

Pull up a chair next to Jaykush, I heard he has some killer buds and has been holding out on us.

Man, those mixes makes me hungry. Sounds so delicious.

Sorry how rude of me. Hi  names pumpkin and have been a secret fan of yours and the rest at OFC for a while now. IC Mag takes a little while to get registered.... but I'm here now so we'll not talk about that.

I'm hope you'll allow this young padawan a seat in your masterful grow.

Pull up a seat Pumpkin, and Welcome.

You are most welcome to come along for the ride. I hope you enjoy it.

I have been working on those teas lately....they really do make you hungry don't they.

 haha Vonforne, the plants look amazing! I see what you mean by simple tea brews. I MUST source myself some yucca extract and fulvic acid...I have read(probably in the OFC somewhere) about the benefits of fulvic acid.

I hope you dont mind my pic of the family. These Thai babies and one BlueMystic are in a mostly coconut coir mix. There is one that is in a mix of 25% spent coffee 25% rice husk charcoal. The rest is basically the same soil as the others ...100% organic.

Nice looking kids there Thai, rice husk charcoal huh? I will have to research that one.

Are the kids going to be outsiders? Or insiders?

About the teas, I sometimes go overboard with the ingredients. I find when I keep it simple and work with select items that the outcome is better. I will brew a tea each time with different things and feed the kids. They are getting more benefits from it I believe. They get the same mineral and NPK ratio fed to them just a different times. That is why I rotate.

These kids are all outsiders! I was using a cabinet, but the power goes out a lot around here (rainy season) and it just buggers everything up. If the sun goes out we're all done for! hah.

The rice husk charcoal is used locally to propagate cuttings of various plants. I googled rice husk charcoal a few days ago and came across a Thai University site. The abstract of the study was in English. It basically said that a mix of 50/50 coconut husk and rice husk charcoal gave the best results among many other mixes, in propagating some type of bamboo. (100% success). It is slightly acidic (so I'm told) and it has lots of little crevices for out little micro kiddies to attach to!

I will be testing this material out even more in my grow here. I actually have a thread over in the Grow Diaries Forum...

Peace

Thanks for that thai, I will look into your thread there. I would be interested in using some. Peat based mixes are acidic also. Do you of set this with some type of lime?

Hi emmy  Thanks for stopping by. Pull up a seat. Have any pics of your kids? Post us up one.

Ya, I'm having fun with this one. I have never done a wide open grow along before.

I have been working on some things lately and thought I'd put it all out there for everyone.

I went to the beach this morning and collected some nice seaweed off the beach. some one is going to be eating good soon.

V, I use coconut husk/coir instead of peat. USED Coffee acts as a buffer and I DO use dolomite lime at 2 tbsp/gal.

Hey Thai, thanks for the info.

Hey Birds, How's it? Thanks for the props. It means alot from you.

Some of the "heads" on those "teas" are from reading some of your essays.

I'm learning and passing on the information so others can do the same.

See ya around, stay safe and keep your heads low.
