What about vegging plants outdoors in pots then flowering under HPS inside? The weather is very good now, I can save electricity and water with this...

I have a month old outdoor plant now that is 1.5 feet big now. I know with a view to bugs I should be careful but I will veg a whole crop outside in pots then put in flowering under HPS.....Is this a good idea and does anyone do this?

You're gonna bring bugs inside and have major problems my man. I'd keep em outside....

Thx JJ the pest strips are a good idea I gonna use that.
I keep a height of 5 feet in the grow room (already minus 1 feet distance from lamps plus the height of the pots so normally I would have 6.5 feet..) and I plan on doing LST (all) + topping/pinching some of them.... I do plan on letting them get about 1.5 feet big outside then put inside...... So it's really a dont? Have you done that already glock? I think its do-able with some work and care no? hmmm

Ok perfect thanks JJ I'll let them become 2-3 feet outside then put indoors and do everything to get them < 6 feet. The strains I'm growing are C'99 & Nevilles Haze and I have never grown sativa so I hope they wont stretch that much....... On my previous grow my plants didn't stretch much if that's a measure
