Ok, so here is a question for you guys...

A friend presented this to me today...If you planted a seed and have been vegging them under CFL's for 2 months, can you flower using the natural sun for the 12/12? (which is currently what is happening) 6:05 this morning, 6:15 tonight, something like that.

I told him that he would get scragley, underdeveloped plants...but he says any buds are better than none. Any comments?

I would think (and im no expert) that the sun would be the best source for flowering, this plant can be moved outside? Again take this advice with a grain of salt because im not 100% sure.

Not sure, he has it in the sun, but I think he said it is in front of the sliding glass door...something like that. Too cold where he is for it to go outside just yet.

yep, and it is recommended.

the best source of light anywhere on this planet comes from the sun, no lamp can reproduce it's output... yet...

just as long as he is consistent w. the 12/12 time... if he gets stoned and forgets he is gunna have a hermy real quick

Also if your friend moves his plants to the outdoors for it's 12 hour of light when it is warm enough he will need to spray with a vegetable bug killer spray or neem becuase he won't want to bring those critters in his house if he plans on doing an idoor grow some day.

He should be OK with them outside for about a month, but after that the days are going to get to long and he is either going to have to cover them or bring them back inside......

If his plants are getting good light (and good darkness) for 12 hours, he should be fine.

The sun gives you 75,000-100,000+ lumens for free.

It's better than any artificial light.
