AN- Advanced Nutrients 3 part ferts. Do i need anything else?

W

WheelsOG

I'm on my third run using the Advanced Nutrients 3 pack.

I use a very basic 1 part soil, 1 part perlite medium. The only nutrients my plants receive come from the 3 part fertilizer as directed by the back of the bottles(http://www.indoorgardener.ca/images/GMB_Combo_Pack.jpg).

So far my plants have been nice and healthy, producing 66 gram under a 150 watt light my last run. I grew a strain called ambrosia (god x burmese) which was nice in flavour but low on resin.

This time around I'm trying Jock Horror out. I have two ladies at about 30 days into their flowering cycle. They both look nice and healthy. Is there anything you guys recommend that i add to my grow? Someone on another thread recommended using Big Bud and Overdrive. What would i notice by adding something like this?

Thanks for any opinions, shared experience, or tips.

Cheers

I should add that I haven't added any dolomite lime to my soil mix. For Ph issues i have just been adding some "Ph-up" to my acidic fertilizer mixes.

Ya their calculator basically assumes you have their whole line :p

Could you go through your additives list product by product to explain what each does?
Have you tried growing without these additives away? What was the result?

Thanks for the reply

Any insight on these products would be awesome

I use the AN G-M-B without any additives and have no problems.
The nutrient calculator assumes you have all the products, which can get expensive!
I follow the Lucas formula which states that 8 micro 16 bloom is acceptable.
hope this helps

AN's 3 part is exactly the same thing as GH's 3 part. The analysis is identical. What strikes me as funny is that when you look at the GH Flora Series labels...they even say "Advanced Nutrient System" lol

Take a look for yourselves...

I would use someone elses micro if you like AN. GH and AN micros are weak compared to others I have used. Their bios are $. I would use bio-organics about 10x cheaper. Voodoo juice is good but real $, I brew it like a tea to make it last. If you look at the salts in big bud/OD you can spend pennies and get the salts blended on your own. Buds are bigger w/then w/o.The following is a 3 part I sent a friend to compare $165 for 6 gal pail of each.I perfer amino chelated minerals but they do cost more. Suerte JK

Grow More came out with this 3 part awhile back, but they have not marketed it. Here is Grow More's 3 Part formula,
