Amnesia IBL & Colombian Gold 1972 by Underground Seeds Collective

I'm familiar with some breeders of this collective, I can tell you these are very serious people... I'll ask them to reply to you here...

I'm interested in the Amnesia IBL as a more stable alternative to Super Silver Haze, and according to Shantibaba "Amnesia" was just another name given to SSH. According to Nevil, SSH & Jack Herrer are the same line, so the only other stabilized alternative is Sanni3's Jack F7. So what I'm lookling for is a stable/inbred 50% Haze hybrid without the catpiss side effect of inbreeding the Haze.
I'm interested in the Colombian Gold strictly for pollen chucking purposes. I can't see myself growing out these pure Sativas except for breeding.

There are many haze lines which did not descend from Neville's Haze A or C cuts, and do not share this catpiss trait. Look at a pure Haze like Tom Hill's and you rarely come across these kind of smells. And, his line has never been outcrossed, and has been worked for multiple generations.

I have seen / smoked several Hz on Hz crosses even created a few myself .
Still to come across the Cats piss ....
The Cats Piss story seems more to do with NVL getting his hands on fresh blood to me .

Tom Hill's is exactly the Haze I don't want. Did I describe a pure Haze or a 50% cross? A buddy of mine grew TH Haze and its pheno city, the reason I'm specifically interested in the Amnesia IBL.....it meets both of my criteria.

That's a good question on how Sanni3 can go to F7 while avoiding catpiss phenos. In any case its a lot more stable than say Tom Hill's Haze or Neville's Haze, or even SSH as of late -by stable I don't mean every plant is a keeper, but carries a higher degree of consistency than you'd get from any of the aforementoned.
I didn't recommend it as a line that would meet your criteria. I was responding to your comment about catpiss smells.

If you are referring to a nevil catalouge i dont believe he ever did a mass/commericial release of that haze ive asked
As for catpiss we all have our likes an dislikes an this trait is something i associate with some of teh best haze ive come across (NYC HAZE )
But i would like everyone to know this trait was in the Original Santa Cruz haze an didnt appear only due to inbreeding

What i read is that Tom Hill got his Haze in 1995, but what i heard and smoked there is a Haze clone going around now for 27 years.The one i smoked is totally different than the Amnesia Hazes which are sold in the shops.The catpiss aroma is more a heavy spicy skunk aroma to me.

I have both the Amnesia IBL and Colombian Gold X Jamaican Lambsbread but haven't grown either. Will try the Amnesia next run.
I believe the clone Amnesia is an SSH pheno indeed, but I thought they had crossed it with Neville's Haze to create the Amnesia seeds.
I've never had Jack Herer from shops that tasted like haze. Maybe they never used the haze pheno's for commercial production, would make sense. I thought Jack was only 25% haze so I dunno how much hazey specimens you'd end up with.
Sanni3 selected for sativa traits so it could well taste like haze in a lot of plants.
The SLH I grew last round is some of the finest haze hybrid I've smoked so far - and I smoked haze a lot, often it was the safest bet to get decently cured buds in shops - tastes exactly like the silver haze with some added funk to it. And it's only 25% haze either.
I grew out Female Seeds' Tropical Ice(widowxfast haze) which didn't taste like haze at all, I grew a Fast Neville's and although still curing it's very light on the haze also...
I am also looking out to get me some haze strains and pure sativa strains like you to do some crossing with indica strains, to try and make some of that crazy Silver haze stuff

Also My Jack F6 taste like Spicey Lemons, very strong spice undertones. After its smoked in the air it has a nice lemony churchy incense smell

im sure that amnesia ibl are great beans, cause those breeders have real dedication to cannabis...
but if i can suggest alternative, get karma genetics Jackonesia... i grew amnesia moppels cut, and it was great.. but side by side i grew jack o nesia and it outperformed amnesia cut in many aspects..
grab those beans if you can, cause karma got busted...
