Amnesia Core Cut: any growing tips or insights?

i've been growing the Amnesia Core Cut a couple of times but i think i could do better.
the plants kinda looked unhappy even though they yielded well enough (~40 g/per plant, 11 l soil containers, 400 W HPS)
i'm sure there is room to improve - anyone who has more insight into this strain care to share their findings?

it took me a bit to get hooked on the taste and smell, but now i love it! :D
the potency is very nice, too.

I did grew the core cut several times. Most with canna bio flores and pk13/14. at one grow i tried to push the limit and gave 1 1/2 strenght for the last weeks with full strenght pk. That was quite high nute wise because she got very dark green and a lot of leaf tips looked burned. Also tried to let her bloom as long as possible with this grow and cut at 12weeks(mold). Imo she could go up to 13weeks for full power. The weed was very strong and devasting.
Most of the time i took her with 9 weeks and got very good potency. Imo the core cut has a big harvest window.
now i grow water only and have the impression that the core cut delivers good results in a used soil mix other strains struggle to get a good yield.

Sorry for off topic post. I have been trying for awhile but never get replies. What are the most sought after clone only strains these days, and where can you find legit cuts?

Any pictures?

sorry, i stopped taking pictures of my grows years ago ;-)

@chilliwilly - i am usually a very light feeder. i never use more than half of the recommended dose listed on the ferts.
my core cuts were pretty dark green for most of the cycle, except near the end (i take them at 9-10 weeks).
leaves felt a bit hard and brittle.

I got the impression the core cut does better in organic. What nutes do u use?
hard and brittle leaf i got too. Overall a robust plant imo. The branches never turned to the light because they were so stiff, just kept growing in the direction they are facing.

sorry, i was offline for the weekend.

i used just some off-the rack (cannabis specific) mineral bloom fert. no additives or anything complicated. i try to keep things as simple and and low maintainance as possible.
next time i plan on trying out BioTabs - because i really wish i could just water the plants and not think about ferts.

@wutwut: nice pics!

When I used to grow the core cut, to keeping her manageable I used to go straight to 12/12 and she would end up still a few good feet.
I used to give no more than quarter strength bloom feed as any more and she would burn, I used plant magic organic bottled feed or bio canna.
I was always amazed at the look of the finished bud, totally dense with amazing resin coverage, I used to refer to her as designer weed, lol
when dry I found her to be a lot like a few other compact flowers, that I could just snap off the bud from the stems, no scissors needed.
I have a few pics in my various albums but like a lot of others at the moment I’m struggling to post pics.

ive also grown USC’s version and found one very similar to the core but not quite as good.

thanks for your input, window!

i've also noticed that the buds from the core cut are quite dense. when i grind one up i'm always surprised how much more there is compared to buds from other strains.

i let the rooted clones go for about 10-14 days before 12/12. height isn't really a problem for me, as i grow in a vertical setup.
