American Business

They say, do what you love. So, I looked into opening a pizza carry out place that serves Italian ices.

Frankly, they have it set up, so it's more profitable to sell marijuana than it is to operate an American business.

I have to come up with $100,000 to get started and it's more likely that the business will fail than succeed. I need 300 families, or 900 customers to make it go.

For every $700,000 I make, I get to keep about $100,000 after paying your uncle. Just wanted to make it clear he's your uncle, not mine.

When the government is nationally manipulating prohibition, it's tough to start an American business and be successful.

Well you won't go to jail selling pizza. Sure you won't make a lot unless you have a few stores but if you enjoy making pizza and have a good recipe that the people would like, go for it.

Despite all the b/s to the contrary it's still the easiest place in the world for the average person to be financially well off, own property, accumulate wealth.

Well you don't seem very confident if you assume you will go bankrupt and fail, so it would be best not to take the risk in that case. I get your point though.

America was at her greatest when small business accounted for half of her GNP, one thing I miss about those Regan years.

I've been trying for years to open my restaurant, a now perpetual project. it seems that for every month I fall behind it takes two to catch up to where I should have been. The debt I incurred in 9.5 years waiting for my workcomp case to settle nearly equaled the eventual payout.

I do however refuse to bend to the evils of borrowing from banks to fulfill my dream, if I can't complete the project on my own monies and efforts, or by partnering up then I'll just have to resign it to the always growing coulda/woulda/shoulda pile of stuff I've walked away from so far in life.

if you got youth in your favor then continue to plan and dream floralheart.......
