Am I fucked or not?

Damn.

This just happened today. First time I ever tried pinching one of my plants... then tried to adjust the plant under the screen... and with a very small movement the stem snapped right where I pinched.

Will she live?

Thanks.

More than likely it will survive. That their is a form of supercropping. Just gently straighten it and tape it with scotch tape. Some people use a strip of gauze pad or the like to give a little room to grow. That spot will get real fat when it heals.

Good Luck :joint:

Looks from here that it should be fine, I have done worse that that. How ever you may want to make sure she is supported esp. if you have a fan blowing on her. They tend to be a little weak until they begin to heal.

Stake her up and tape it up with scotch tape or plant ties..

Yup...she'll be fine.
Grab some popsicle sticks (or something rigid and small), and tape it around the bent area.
Last time (the only time, lol) I knocked a plant over I took a couple paperclips and used them, then used dental floss to rap everything together. I found the waxed floss really held nicely against the stem and was easy to remove once the lady is patched up.
BTW, make sure to remove the string or whatever you wrap the plant with. You don't want to restrict the stem from passing nutrients and water through it. Not to mention, the stem can eventually engulf the string (grow around and over), which may give you mold problems?

Just some ideas for ya,
JC

That plant needs 2 teaspoons (10ml) epsom salts from the drugstore per gallon (3.79 liters) of water as soon as possible. :bongsmi:

Please dont give advice in the infirmary if you have no idea what you're talking about Hotgurl.

:badday:

He came here showing us his damaged stem and received the advice needed.

Sorry 10k. Didn't mean to cause any trouble. Just looks like the worst case of magnesium deficiency I have ever seen.

How would you know without asking one single question of the grower? One poor webcam pic doesnt make for the best diagnosis.

Sounds like something sproutco would do. :chin:
