Am I being paranoid?

Are these Male Pollen Sacks? Or Early Seeds? or some form of early flower i've never seen?

Ive grown 1 male before and it did not look smokeable, We used a cone, collected its pollen. But it wasn't my OP.

This was a girl. I know she was. 8 weeks veg, 2 weeks into flower. And the flowers look pretty as usual.

Upon further inspection I noticed a few of these on the smaller branches at the bottom. Below the buds. And only 1 per branch. Strange shit to me.

The above spoken male I grew was 7 years ago, and not in the same house. So if its male genitalia then I got my first true Hermie.

See here is a shot of the flower. And you cannot see any of the above pictured things unless I take a shot of the under side of a bud site. However now I plucked em all off.

So If I keep plucking them like they look in that picture is there a chance that none will burst. And Maybe a chance for no seeds? Should I let her run another 6 weeks? chop her now and make hash?

Pick them all if they come back ditch the plant. Second week of flower there's nothing to hash really.

Any bananas? Or just sacks?

From the looks of it some already opened. You could keep plucking & see where that gets you but most likely you with end up with seeds. If this is your only plant than its really up to you if ifs worth it or not. If you have other budding plants in there I would suggest chopping it down now & giving the room a lite mist of just plain water to keep any possible pollen from flying around.

Well the plant is stinky, and has a ton of trichs. You sure that wouldnt yield any hash?

Na the only foreign thing I didnt recognize, and didnt like on my girl were those, If I seen a banana Ida yanked it also. For me it just seems odd I only found this many on a girl with 20-30 bud sites. And they were only on the smaller lower branches.

Well currently she is the only one in 12/12. I have 2 from her tho in veg. And they wont be ready for another 4-5 weeks. But since they are from her, could be same deal.

Those didnt look like that until I plucked them off. I think I squeezed em open.

Next time try not to burst them. Spray some water in the area before plucking them to prevent possible pollen flying off. Since its your only one I would just keep plucking & you might end up with something still worthy. As for the the clones you made off this one, they with most likely hermi too unless this was just caused by some major stress on your part.

From the pic I couldn't really tell. I guess then.

Since you said theyre on the lower parts, are they only showing up at nodes where you topped or pinched stems?

Also what is the strain?

Some of the Chem crosses and OG crosses will show balls like this on female plants around week 2 - 3. Normally, if you pluck them off, they do not keep coming back, and you can grow out a harvest of seedless flowers just fine...IF you get them off before they drop pollen and don't miss any.

But depending on what you are growing, I'd give it a shot - unless things just start getting REALLY out of control and they start showing up all over the place. But if they are only in a few spots, then pluck them off...make sure you get them all...and keep going forward with your grow.

Just keep a close eye on it - if they keep increasing in frequency, up into week 4 and 5 - then yeah, go ahead and ditch the plant...no point in fighting such a thing EVERY time you grow it out - unless it is just amazing smoke and you simply cannot live without it...

Excellent advice. Water kills pollen...makes it useless instantly. When plucking, a quick spray down of h2o can make all the difference in keeping the seeds at bay... k+ :respect:

@ ShortStackz : Thanks for that advice for next time. Amazing how the most logical things can be overlooked like using water. And Im 95% certain its my fault. She was pretty as hell. I then gave the first 12/12 dose of Iguana Bloom. And I didnt have my TBSP so I eyed it up. I assumed it was too much but said f it. Then the next day the leaves went copper/amber. And then I flushed. Now the colors are normal. and everything was fine until I seen these 8-9 bastards hanging.

@ Cannivore: Yea It wasnt a good day for closeups. I didnt pinch or top. Just the lower branches. I dont know the strain, It was the lone seed in a very intensely purple bud I got one time.

Hey, if the hermie is alone in flower why not just let it go. Hermies can still produce some amazing smoke, just watch for seeds when smoking . If you found that many flowers you will certainly miss some no matter how hard you look. Also if you still have cuttings of this plant you could assume they are hermie as well. Hermaphrodites can happen from various stresses or simply genetics, but with that much hermaphrodism it will be prevalent everytime you bud this cutting out.

Having experienced it myself years ago, sounds like classic nute burn. Seems to me you can just pinch and proceed but don't take any cuts as they and the seeds will be likely to herm. I'm no expert, but I DID stay at a Holiday Inn Express last nite ;)

You can do some research but. I heard that you can make feminised seeds this last week from a fellow grower while down at his farm. just take the pollen from a hermie plant and then cross it with a female. i am not sure but he says you should get 99% females from the seeds. worth a experiment if nothing else.. but you deffinatly have a hermie plant there.

You can pick the pods.

If it starts to flower more hairs, all is cool, if it starts just growing more bananas, its not.

If its your only plant, let it finish. (start other plants in veg.)

Hermies can be amazing smoke, it just depends on the circumstances whether its worth it.
