Alot of trunk do u think it will fill out?

Hello Good people. I have 3 amnesia haze strains that are ladys 2 weeks into flowering. they are already stretching. One is toped others not. There seem to be alot of trunk on them. Is that a bad trait or will they poss fill out. Using 400 hps with fox farm all they way, soil and nutes. The Ak and soma looking good. Thanks for any comments.

those plants are going to continue to stretch for quite sometime yet , as far as filling out, sure they're going to stop stretching and grow some tighter nodes and bud up , but from looking at them now i'd say you have atleast a foot of hight to go before you start seeing that happen , and any stem already showing is just going to stretch more , did you take any clones to work with later on down the road ?

I think you'll be fine just keep your light as close as you can to the tops... that will kind of keep the stretch down a little and the buds wil fill in tighter. Those babies are looking good!

Clones? Yes I was thinking of trying my cloneing tec again! The last time with the tooth ,those clones molded and just not sure where to cut exactly! Have the rooting gel and plugs, peat plugs,Might give it a try again. There is one amnesia haze would be perfect for. Look chunky. If could get a few clones to grow ied take it back to hydro again. As i was able to keep them at a managable level by flowering soon. these guys are taking somuch room thers not much more I can raise the Lamp!! Any advice on the above:}

mothra if you have problems with height you should train your plants. Its hard to tell, but from the pics the plants look supple enough that they won't break when you bend them. Its the only way to go at this point, and it'll also help to boost your yeilds. The side branches will all grow to the level of the main cola and the buds will develop more evenly and side branch buds will become MUCH larger :wink:

I have no experience with SCROG but IMO its too late to do that. I may be wrong though so wait to hear from someone else on the SCROG issue.

People A very Good friend Tells me some Haze strains take as long as 14 to 15 weeks finish. Tell me it aint so!! That means the ak and somatooth will be done long before and ill not get to start another for some time. Hope there worth it? Amnesia haze

I think whatever the "Amnesia" part of the puzzle is was put in there to shortin up the traditionally long flower periods of Haze. I think Soma had it at 9-10 weeks.

Check the Amnesia99 grow thread goin here for some good markers.

I would also experiment a little with supercropping and/or train the shit out of it. You can pretty much do like Blue says with the pliable stem as long as it does not break in two your alright. It will just form a big nuckle and keep on keepin on. When that main stem is laying horizontal all the bidsites just climb for the lights makin little foxtail tops. Oooooeeeee. There is a good thread on hear that shows supercroppin methods real good.

Good eve people, To strat with my last few grows were hydro, so I am a bit behind the times with learning better nutes. I started this time with The fox Farm ocean soil also using the fox farm Grow Big- with 6-4-4 now on to the fox farm Big Bloom 0.1-0.3-0.7. Is this gonna be good enough. ?? I have some awsome blossom with parts 2-11-11. Should I add this too? Just curious cause they just dont seem to packing the buds as well as hydro. Please advise. Thank u

they won't be as quick as hydro, that's the nature of the beast. i only use FF bloom once then i switch to Pure Blend Bloom until the last two weeks when i use earth juice bloom, that's beacuse i follow BOG's method. i also use a lil Top Max as well.

those suckers will fill out, just tie them. if the brances arent that stiff use some plastic coasted twist ties you can get big rolls for cheap.
