It breaks my heart to see plants unhappy. Im glad to know they are feeling better and they are showing it too. Hope the grow continues to be as good as it looks now.
they may be still establishing roots (seedling stage). after that they should grow explosivly. your nutrient problems may have hurt growth but no worries they look good now. just one reccomendation, bigger pots. right b4 your next watering transplant into something bigger. the roots will reach out and you should see explosive growth.
Suprisingly enough,I think you're starter mix seems to be lacking a little bit..that much yellowing so early in the game is'nt right.Or could just be plain old over-watering..leaching away all the nutrients.Any case, transplanting always cures rootbound and nute deficiencies.A good rule of thumb is 1gal of soil per/month of growth. The key to really big, healthy plants is several transplants early on in veg..You're trying to induce the Most rootgrowth as possible before inducing 12/12..The bigger the rootmass..the more bud you'll end-up with..!!! Maxi-crop,Liquid Karma,Alaska 2-1-2 are all good low Npk starter ferts that usually will not harm you're plants...but will just give em enough to avoid yellowing.
actually starter and veg mix are the same. i started having probs a little into my second week and let it get out of hand. on the first day of the third week i transplanted into fresh soil. the early yellowing really caught me off guard. two mistakes i made though. first was overwatering. second was adding unused coffee grounds for extra n as a top soil.
luckily the tranplant and some fish emulsion got them looking alot better. theyre small for being almost 5 weeks but they should explode with growth over the next 3 weeks. i feel ive got everything under control now. just some transplants and guano teas should keep everything growing smoothly.
