Almost 100% amber trichomes but the buds are not yet ready for harvest

I have a SS super skunk outdoor, from few days ago i've noticed a strange colour of the resin a mix of red-brown-purple,today with my microscope i saw a lot of amber trichs and in some areas they are ALL amber but the harvest will be around 20 Oct so the plant isn't ready to harvest.....
Why this happens?
Picture coming soon..... :tiphat:

From the pistils, from the size of the buds, from the days of flowering.....
Isn't the first time i grew this strain,so i'm sure isn't ready for the harvest.
This "amber" started at least 5-7 days ago so about 30-35 days of flowering it's impossible they're ready to harvest.....

sounds like the plant is finishing. maybe there is an underlying problem that you're not seeing yet. maybe some type of bug damage going on? maybe something in the soil eating at the roots?

I don't know, just throwing it out there

Good Luck Zio Green

I had that going on some of my outdoor plants in smart pots. They seemed to re start up after a good flush. I think mine might of been a little to much k a little to early on and under watering.

I have a little bug infestation, but nothing so serious that can do this.....
The bud are swelling, new pistils still sprout and growing, but there are these buds with 100% amber trichs.....

Wow I'm glad I looked at this I don't grow outside. It's interesting to note the different problems indoors guys like I have vs outdoor issues.

I'm a chicken and couldn't handle my plants outside. Too much time only indoor for me. Maybe next lifetime, or if pot becomes fully legal in canada

take a closer look at the buds that have the amber trichs and check along the stem to see if you have any worm damage to the stem. If a worm eats into the stem the bud above that area will begin to die off

You have a root or vector problem. Just came from a garden where every plant is ready to harvest but a couple have half the weight and all amber trichs. After a closer inspection the roots were being eaten by some critter and ants were eating them using the roots as hollowed out drain pipes.

Leaf trichomes mature faster. Break open a bud an most likely there will be a mixture of clear/milky/amber trichs
