My little sweetie was a 7.2 pound doggie and severe allergies..gained 2 pounds, one with each dose of steroids last year and the year before= now she's losing weight (it would be nice if she could take off the 2lbs she gained from steroids). Not much works and Quercetone doesn't either. This little dog is miserable and brings tears to my eyes, to see her suffering with the allergies, so much. She has been to the Vet many times and even a holistic vet. I don't see any point in more 'tests' for allergies, I know what I am allergic to and that doesn't help my allergies. If it is in the air, we'll manage to get it. Living in high density housing..controlling the environment isn't an option. I have a hypoallergenic a/c & heater filter and control the inside environment as well as possible.
Absolutely kills me to see her suffer so and nothing working. She has been to the vet, etc. Steroid injections make her bark for 2 mos at any surface that could possibly hold a crumb of anything edible. In years past.. When the steroids wear off, her allergies were worse, anyway.
Gotta find something that works?? Please help the little one and me? I took her to a holistic Vet and have done about all I can think of. Taking off my tin foil hat and asking..please help?
