Allergic to weed on skin?

Just wondered if anyone else gets a rash on there skin when they come into contact with skunk.
A good friend of mine who has been smoking for some years now, gets a rash on his skin when he has been in contact with skunk! He couldn't work out how he was getting this rash, only it was everytime he smoked skunk. I told him to rub some on his skin which he did and promptly came up in a rash!
He doesn't get any reactions if he just smokes it and doesn't touch his skin.
I read in softsecrets some time ago about people who came into contact with northern lights coming out in a rash???

Were gona try a load of other strains when my grow is done to see if its just certain strains that do it to him.
Please let me no if this has happened to you, i wouldn't mind investigating this a little further

whenever I get my hands real dirty (usually in the hash making process) I sometimes get an itchy redness on my forearms (not usually my hands)... and also, if I try to put in my contacts while my hands are all resinous, my eyes will itch for days.

Interesting Jack D Ripper, He got it the other night when we were tumbling some hash up as well.
Got to be something to do with the resin or pollen me thinks. Trouble is he been smoking for years and he just started getting it a few months bk, but i suppose people can develop allergies.

I don't think that is too weird, I get a rash whenever my skin comes in contact with spruce trees. I believe everybody is allergic to something, you just do not know it yet.

Now is the Skunk from the same source or the time, could it be a foliar spray, possibly the nutes that were used?

i get an little rash on my arms sometimes if ive een workig on the bushy plants with out long sleeves on, especially hevy flowering and resinous plants ..... I know a guy who is totally allergic, had to stop smoking and wears a tyvek suit, rubber gloves and paint spraying mask to do his harvesting....... he also has to have an adrenaline pen... hes ben at it since the 70's, imagine that loving the plant so much, but loving growing it, growing it really well and not being able in any way at all be able to enjoiy the fruits of your labour....what a bitch
It really worries me that maybe it could build up and eventual;ly you develop an allergy or intolerance... my mum "Developed" asthma after 15 years working in smoky pubs so its dont impossible....
Great lionk...im going to pm my friedn at another site right now and tell him that a vapouriozer may enable him to get stined again.... it could be the best news hes had in years hahahaha

if you have hayfever you are alergic to pot or hemp it says on this chart in my doctors office

i deff am alergic to plants, pot dust from trimming if i rub a nug on my arm if i smell a bag toomany times but never when i smoke it

oh ya i once along time ago snorted a line of keiff and my roofof my mouth swelled up

Yeah, I found it a couple of years ago when I had some kind of allergy that got me wondering if it could be cannabis related. Fortunately it wasn't...

...or else now I would have to have someone to grow and make water hash for me and I could only smoke it pure on a pipe, which is what Dalek sec's friend should do if he confirms that his allergy is cannabis related.

my grow is in my room, and if i have a male i' know it (or hermie)....tho it's rare.

when i trim always get sic a fuk.

presum from resin on hands.

so yeah i guess im allergic/sens. to weed, prolly why i love it at a 1 or 2 hit level.

im sensitive to weed or anything ...i cant breathe city air for 5 seconds w/out gettin sic.

yeah this is quite well known and if im not mistaken NL is a cross of Thai and Afgani and think how many other crosses contain either of these!!!


...To be honest though Sec i think the friend in question is what some would refer to as a 'big girls blouse!' lol

Like mentioned its the high oily terpenene strains. Almost all indicas and most growing sativas will do it. The only stuff that doesnt make my skin react is mexi-schwag. Small little welt like skin abberations looks like mosquitoe bites when you scratch them too long.

You might want to warn them about pollen. Makes my allergies go nuclear.

Like i say my friend doesn't get any ill reactions when he smokes it, and he has smoked for years with no probs. Its only in the last few months its come on.
