well after many problems i finaly got 4 healthy plants, but theyre all males, i ordered some grape punch seeds, but before i plant them, are males worth keeping? i mean if i grow them out can i smoke them or are they a complete waste

nah if your lookn for smoke delirium chuck em before they spew pollen, dont want leftover pollen in there for your new sexy females

males are worth keeping if your lookn to breed at all, but its seems ur not into that yet.

yep just like shopvac said.. if you arent using the males for breeding you really should use it.. I hear that it makes some good hash thing.. cant remember which.. but yeah theres pretty much nothing to smoke.

Sorry to hear it deliriumxx..You could smoke um if you want too...not a powerful high...but you might get a little somethin off it...if you don't have anything else to smoke...I wouldn't grow them out and get pollen all over the place either though...

Christ that ain nothin,I wasted a whole month vegging a plant sexed it,ripped 9 clones,loaded the buckets and vegged for another month only to realize i was wrong!!! males all of em,live and learn,they were healthy tho,LOL

lol, red that must have really sucked man, im sorry to hear that, im real new at this, i THINK they were males, they had little ball liek thigns growing out of the stems towards the tops, one was a little different though, the top had liek a pyramid of these little balls, i forget who it was but soemone sent me a diagram of what male and female flowers look like when the first start and it matched up pretty well, i have thm on 12/12 all the time, mayeb they were females??? *loads gun*

Yeah it sucked,but wadda ya gonna do,My problem was that I fucked up,thought my early detedtion skills were tuned ,lol,but obviously not.Pre sexing is HARD,for me anyway,what i did do was tune my clone skills up,I can clone anything now,and i got to test my buckets out,they rock!now i got these cappacino's SEXED,no doubts,time to clone em up and start the pump up!when pre sexing,for me anyways they both kinda look the same....upside down teardrop split at the top...thing is ya gotta wait on them hairs!

im new at this sex thing too but i think for females they have 2 little pistils sticking outand males have little balls or something? Not really sure .
Are the chances of getting female and male plants are 50/50? Or does it have something to do with the enviremont around the plants?

yeah i looked out one day and saw it as a small leaf and thought nothing of it, it grew healthy and was fine , then it got about 6-7" tall and could be seen from the road, i've never grown befor, how do i tell the difference in a male or a female?

I believe the female/male ratio has something to do with a long standing family curse I am plagued with,LOL,but the other day my bestest plant was determined to be male,I can say with 100% certainty that it was because in between the nodes was the tell tale 1/64th of an inch stick with a ball on the end,all over the plant.That simple,it starts as a yellowish cast little tiny growth in where ya look,thats the begining,then the stick appears and theres the ball,cant confuse it with anything else.Where as the girls will definately throw hairs,very early on they kinda look identical,so its easy to fuck up.But believe me,it only took one fuckup and I'll never do it again,it's easy.Stick and ball=male...hairs=female....and if neither of these are present,its too early to tell.

yeah, i have yet to see any hairs or balls, that sounded wrong, but anyway, it was in my front yard in a flowerbed full of weeds, would that have anything to do with the sex?

To defeat this plague what I do is put my plants(seedlings) into 12/12 from seedling stage( I seem to get mostly females with this method imo) up until they start to show sex in about 2-3 wks or less, then switch it to 24/0 to get them to veg as usual with all females & males on the periphery of the garden to keep the females under the intense light without males taking up space or kill em'-lol for sinsemilla .hey it works 4 me! I started some seeds about 2 -3weeks ago I already know the sex of half of them also start more seeds than u will need too weed out males & weaklings.Hope that helps I learned the hard way -lol I feel your pain g'luck with your new seeds .Peace Bm
