so ive been lurkin for a couple years n i now have a problem with my first grow.

How long has this problem been going on? 2 weeks
What STRAIN are you growing? bagseed
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) seed
What is the age of your plants? 1 month
How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now? since seed
How Tall are the plants? like a foot
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? veg
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) lst
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) 6 inch round
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) soil from HD...moisture something
What Nutrient's are you using? grow big
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* 1/4 tsp in 2 litres
How often are you feeding? every other
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients?
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect)
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? no ph test
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? no ph test
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen?no ph test
How often are you watering? every other day
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding?yesterday every other
What size bulb are you using? 2 120w t5
What is the distance to the canopy? 3-4 inches
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) no test

Are plant's infected with pest's?no maybe fungus gnats havent seen in awhile

also i used water with a capful of 5% h202 to try to kill gnats about a week ago

Hello piffd, I'm no expert, but since you asked I will give you my 2 cents. Fungus gnats could indicate too much moisture in the soil. Letting them dry out will help kill the gnats and it does'nt hurt the plants as they don't like wet feet.

was your soil mg- moisture control??? if so, that stuff may be holding to much moisture= overwatered=fungus gnats. mg soil has time release ferts also, which may lead to some nutrient probs later. not sure what to tell you, Im a big help, huh? maybe try repotting in some plain soil. just go a little bigger with your next pot and use plain old potting soil. keep ph in check and don't overwater. im sure more exp dirt guys will check in with more,better help than i... wish i could help more...
