Albuterol inhalers...

"activation of β2-receptors results in relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle resulting in a widening of the airway (bronchodilation). Inhaled salbutamol sulfate has a rapid onset of action, providing relief within five to fifteen minutes of administration."

Basically just asthma inhalers, I used to have asthma as a kid and used them, but recently was smoking with a friend who was kind of sick (the perpetual smokers cough) and would take a couple puffs of albuterol to open up his lungs before we smoked.

So the question is: would this accelerate and/or enhance absorption of THC?
And would it work even if your lungs were in good shape?

albuterol is a steroid...it isn't good for you, my girlfriends mmj doctor was saying how his daughter was on it for years before they started seeing side effects...my girl hasn't used hers since..no problems either

It's beta-blocator, not steroid; affects heart rate and what not.. Your friend should kick tobacco habit and switch to vaping herb.

taking medicine you don't need is always a bad idea, no matter what kind it is. i mean trying it a few times won't hurt you but you sound like you want to start using it every time you smoke and that would def be bad

yea albuterol is actually bad for your heart..its actually for emergency use, kind of a last resort type of thing... i use it when i find myself at a function or event where there are animals(im extremely allergic.) mary jane helps open up my bronchial tubes, ive been told MJ helps with allergies.

Yea i definitely won't be stocking up on albuterol, but it seems worth a try if your chest is already super congested.
