Hi there, here is a photo of my alaskan ice plants at 4.5 weeks veg. It's my first grow and i would like to hear your opinions.
Should i trim or top my plants???
Is there a way to make plants taller(the left one is really bushy and not so tall)???
Thanxx!!!

They look nice, maybe a touch of heat stress going on with the leaf edges turning upwards. Lifting the lamp might help but more info on your set up would be ideal.
You'll be about ready to flip to 12/12 won't ya ?.

You could raise the smaller one up on some books or something.

This is a closet set up with a son t agro 400 watt hps for both vegetative and flowering stage. My relative humidity is 40-50% and the temperature about 25-36 celcius.I feed my plants with biobizz bio grow.I think i'm gonna give them 1-2 weeks more before i switch to 12/12.Do you think i should trim my ladies for easier light penetration(flowering stage)???

How far away from the bulb are they ?..
I'm an LST'er but if i were you i'd maybe cut the lowest branches, that's about it and it's up to you, they look healthy.
Peak temps could do with coming down a bit, better ventilation or cooling the area outside the cab would help but besides that you're good to go as far as i can see.

Are you going to re-pot them ?, i'm not sure how many liters you're packing there..
And they'll stretch a lot during flower so make sure you have enough headroom.

They are 65cm away from the lamp.I have just repotted them to 14 litre pots.I think these pots gonna be just fine till harvest time.I have plenty of head room (over 1.80m) so i''ll do my best lowering my peak temperatures and hoping everything goes well!!!

Sounds good, drop those temps a bit and you might be able to get the lamp closer through flowering.

Good luck !

How tall are these ladies. They look good but they don't look so big for 4 1/2 weeks. I would think they would be larger. What nutes you running also what mix of soil? Nice job though they should almost double in size when you flip them 12/12.

I have some Alaskan ice goin now at 3 weeks flowering. This I can say, they will stretch out alot. I would do what was suggested, stack books up to reach the light with short one. I love this plant, I hope you end up loving her too. I just switched to a style of hydro called " hempy buckets", this is what I'm doin now and love it also. Do a search on it, you may like it too. A.I. Is a good one to grow, good luck, man.
