hey people first grow ak48/nirvana seeds im on 4th week from germ ive got them (7) under a 200w ecolight ill post pics ive got hesi tnt soil i just repotted them in 10 l pot so what dya think people am i doin ok? undefinedundefined

I've seen some great AK48 pheno's. So I watch every AK48/47 grow thread. Do you have any air blowing on those girls? Are you going to add more CFL? HPS? T5 light? Any plans to LST or top?

i was planing to get hps but after reading cfl sog dr greenbud i might just have clones in a cfl flower room i have a 10 " fan blowing tops of plants there was a bit of yellowing on the oldest leaves just before repot to 10 litre pots

Those 10-litre pots should be big enough to flower in - if you're planning on keeping them as mothers, they'll get pretty big in those pots in a veg room.

You're using a blue ecolight for veg? Do you have a red one for flowering?

Those plants sure look healthy, though. Looking good so far.

the ecolight is blue spectrum ive ordered a red spectrum light for flowering i will maybe start lst soon wait till they get over shock of repot my growroom is 2metre in height so i will split the room in half for mother plant and clones so wish me luck ive been lucky so far but have read loads before starting grow keep lookin all feedback is most welcome

With all that vertical height, you can afford to veg anything for a while before putting it into flower. Maybe wait until plants have presexed and are 18" tall?
Maybe keep one mother back and do some cloning while the others are flowering? With 7 plants, you'll probably have at least 3 big females to flower, which is as much as I'd want to put under one 200W CFL.

In those new pots, your plants should put on a nice growth spurt over the next few days. Good luck!

cheers blimey i was going to veg for 2 week more then sex them 12/12 till they start to show sex then put the best fem back in veg cycle or is that stupid?

Myself, I've never been a fan of mucking about with the light period too much. I'm not saying that 12/12 until sex and then back to veg is a bad thing, but I wouldn't go that route myself.

Either take a clone or two off each plant, and put them (the clones) into 12/12 after rooting, or just keep vegging as now, and eventually the plants will show preflowers anyway. Either way will take a couple or three weeks to get the answers you need.

As this is your first grow, I'm tempted to advise you to just keep vegging those plants until they show some preflowers (the alignment of new side branches will probably change too), then put the females (or all but I) into flower.

Keep everything simple this first time round. Make sure you're happy that you've got the watering and feeding regimes dialled in. Enjoy the panicky two weeks when those small squat plants suddenly stretch into a small forest.

Will smell control be an issue for you? Best to have something planned ahead of time, if it's needed.

When I did my first grow (about 8 years ago), I just threw all my plants into flower when they reached 12" tall, and planned to catch any males as they showed themselves.

Alas, about a week in, I had to go out-of-town on a business trip, and asked my partner in crime to check on the plants, water/feed etc.

I got a phone call a few days later: "Hey, buddy! I went to check the plants last night when the lights came on, and there was this yellow stuff everywhere!"

I think I got about 150 "Lemon Skunk x NL" seeds out of that first grow, and a lot less bud than I was hoping for Taught me a lesson lol

hey blimey cheers i now think i wiil go for what you said let them show preflower an all that. i havent done any thing about odour control they smell a bit just now so f%&*K knows what they will smell like in a month or so cheap carbon filter ?any ideas i can vent to loft have ducting running from kitchen extractor to vent in roof cuold join to that ?

I'd deffo connect up to existing venting up to the loft if you can. The smell will be much stronger after a few weeks in flower.

It's always good to get fresh air coming in from somewhere too. fresh air = CO2.

2 day after repot they are starting to grow again im trying to lst but will have to tie them down any ideas?

How much flexibility do you have in the stems? You might want to put screws in the sides of the bucket (just under the rim) so you can tie your training strings to them. Best to use a soft fibre - I've seen people using wire insulation, rubber bands, all sorts of things.

Don't try to bend too much in one go. Better to do a small adjustment every day. It's easy to snap the odd branch or stem until you get the hang of it.

Sammet has some good close-up photos of LSTing in his grow diary. It's a big thread, but well worth trawling through.

Hey man good luck with the 48, I grew her out didn't get the greatest pheno, but it was good smoke. Plant has nice tight buds, and great bag appeal. Hope you don't mind me throwing this picture up.

ive just turned to 12/12 ive added a 200wat envirolite red so do ya think thatll be enough? also when will i change to flower nutes?all feed back welcome

Start using flower nutes the first week of flower. I use a few additives in veg but when they hit flowering they get hit with a lot of additives. Remember to add your additives to your desired additive ppms before you top off with equal parts of your three part or two part NPK nutes.

well week 2 on 12/12 and ive only got 1 female but shes a big bitch so ill get lots of cuttings cut 4 today just to try it out im not using clone gel etc ........

Never had it but heard it was KRAYZIEEE.. anyways good luck with your grow and may you have some shiny buds that glisten with resin...well 1 female never did any harm... lol, dont feel bad, my last grow i had 16 and only 2 were lovely ladies, but they got real big and the light was more than enough for them since there wasnt any other plants takin it up.... but im not to good with cloning (never done it)... hope you well... peace brotha....
