direct from serious or a distributor. i grew mine in 2005 and got about 60 clones off her before aging to the point of no return.
very faint smell but you could taste the fruityness.

i got it from a buddy that said it was the cherry pheno from pre '96 sensi seed stock..

I dont think sensi made any ak47 seeds . I have a sensi strain list on my other laptop i will have a look later.

Simon worked at sensi before the joint Th seeds thing... and then Serious... think he got placed in 94 with Ak47... so I'd say he had something sim worked at sensi...

That cherry pheno is some special herb for sure, I had her a few years ago and she always impressed everyone she came in contact with. +K
I thought the cheery pheno was nothing to do with taste and smell but the fact that theleaves went a nice red colour hence why simon hasnt found this cherry tasting pheno himself

ok guys; enough! i was the co-admin of the serious seeds forum for a spell and i have grown out all 5 of SS strains; there was a planned serious 6 but it has been shelved for abit as the test beans failed.
SS has now joined with MAGUS seeds and their 5 strains including motivation and warlock.
simon has known of the "cherry pheno" since creation and once let it slip there may be a hint of CB in the genetics. the forum is now closed as it was based in canada and claude who is here was the administer with the server in holland. it never seemed to get rolling as the lure of 5 strains did not seem enough.
i have grown the cherry pheno and i have grown the CB sativa and the smell is similar; but fainter in the ak-47. the cherry pheno is a throwback of earlier genetics and thus rare.

ya the leaves arent red at all, and Ive seen a lot of red leaves come out of my closet.. temps are cold enough too.. I think this gal gets her name from the smell.. last time i took whiff she smelled a little like cherries and cream, but thats just my opinion.. sorry, it might have been serious, i tend to mistake serious and sensi LOL

yup theres always 1! i have life skills and 35 years of growing behind me but - who am i? so believe me or not, never saw a red leaf yet. red hair; yes. red stem; yes. but not the leaves. oh and go ask claude as serious has a mini-forum right here on ICMAG.

Its allready been asked astro an i was a member of ss forum too claude has not found or tasted a cherry pheno yet
im not douting your exp or anything just having my say as i believe the uk cut doesnt smell of cherries it goes red

no biggs, supposedly theres no chance of finding this 'cherry' pheno anymore with newer stock. Unless you run lotssss of seeds perhaps. I recommend strawberry alien kush seeds if you want cherry/strawberry type phenos. Maybe some seeds with cherry bomb in it, but not sure if you can find those anywhere.

as for buddahs sister; it has SKUNK in it. tart cherry and ak-47 from serious may just be a hit.
i had 100 outdoor plants ak-47 and got 1 single cherry pheno of which i took clones. the serious ak-47 is still grown hereabouts and has been for the last 10 years or more. i ordered 8 - 15 pacs and had a full germ; 3 did not mature and 17 males which i thought was an excellent ratio. also had a pack of white russian and 1 of bubblegum.
like a fool i planted in the ground and also didnt take any male clones or collect pollen. live and learn!

the cherry pheno is a "throwback" and in the genetic structure therefore you can still get one but your chances are slimmer every generation. what else can i say?
this one could be revegged and if it survived; then you could "self" it giving you a 1 in 4 shot of getting it again but running the risk of hermies.
