AK-47 Week 3+

:joint: wassup.

Here are two pics of an heavy sativa AK from 2001 seed stock. This is not the cherry pheno. She smells of fruit punch, ganja, and a heady incense smell. This thread is to document the indoor grow of cuttings taken from an outdoor AK female.

As you can see, the buds are slowly forming. They are small to begin with, especially for week 3, reminding me that she is a sativa, and will take 10 weeks+ to finish.

There are 7 cuttings in total. I intend to harvest August the 31st. 4 cuttings are 3 weeks in bloom, 3 cuttings have only started flowering this week, and will be harvested week 7. The reason for the staggered harvest is there is no reason to it, it just happened. Fate I guess.

This is the outdoor AK. Some of you may have seen this picture.

These are the AK at week 3. Pretty small, no? I'm used to growing the indica pheno where the buds are much bigger by now! I guess they'll 'fill in' over the next 7 weeks.

I killed all the AK-47 cuttings at week 4. They were seeded with Firecracker, an unwanted strain.

The smoke was mild for AK, just seed, stem and leaf - no bud. When I finished taking out 100's of seeds, removing the leaf and stem - pretty much only a ew grams were left. I toked them down vigourously in 1g joints laced with honey oil. I got pretty stoned. But I still have my sensi outdoor ak, which I expect, now that I have taken cuttings to week 4, will be a very long wait for the buds to swell to full size. She is definately a sativa.

I'm growing Citrus Skunk, a much better strain than AK. I dunno why I bother with other seedbanks anymore - I only got one seedbank to buy from that sells genuine commercial skunk. I dunno about those Nirvana beans, they look pretty good. I may give Nirvava-voom a go!

Nice one GYpsy.
