AK-47 girls are curlying. I have a 250 W HPS system, under that 2 strains, AK-47 and DCSkunk. this problem only occures in the AK-47 strains. Here is the pic of the problem.

Damn that looks serious... all that comes to mind is a heat stress... but in order to give a more specific/accurate diagnose more details. Maybe a shot of the whole plant would be nice too.

1. Medium
2. Nute reschedule
3. PH
4. temps
5. What do you think happend?

1. medium is soil
2. nutes are organic, this problem occurs about 10 days ago.
3. PH of the water is about 6.5, later I will look what's the PH of the water in the trays
4. temps between 25 - 30
5. I think that maybe this strain needs more co2?

Later will take some pictures in the dark :) so you can easily see what kind of problem I have got. And tell you what kind of nutes i'm having.

Is it possible that maybe is that just because of the strain?

brainthor, I don't think that i'm burning them with the light, it's only 250W HPS, and I use cooltube. And I don't think that there is too much nitrogen.

thanks for replies, will post another post soon with more pics

have a nice day

Definately mag def... whether or not it is lock out i don't know. You can try giving them a small dose of mag, or foliar it to them. Or flush...

good luck

Flush very well and your problems should go away. Dont start adding all sorts of things you could make it worse. Watch your temperature

Strain_searcher can you please explain me how should I flush them? They are all under the net, about 12 of them are AK-47. And each girl have one tray.

I think that is a bit of impossible :)

Looks like light burn to me.

If this is only happening at the top near the light, then I would suspect light burn (Light too close to tops). Raise the light, get a fan blowing on the tops and see how they look in a few days.

It does look like heat stress to me.

I think its a micronutrient problem. Does your fert have micros? What are the ferts and how much/how often are they applied? Have you tested soil ph? What's in the soil? How long ago since being repotted?

How to test soil ph: After watering/ferting till runoff. Wait 30 minutes. Apply a small amount of distilled water to the soil till 1 or 2 ounces of runoff occurs. Catch on a saucer. Test this ph. If you can tilt the pot and get some liquid out after water/ferting and waiting 30 minutes, you can test that instead.

Alternate and more accurate method of testing: Take the plant out of the container. About 1/2 way down on the rootball, scape 1/4 cup soil mix off. Be carefull not to break many roots. Mix the soil with 1/4 cup distilled water. Stir. Wait 30 minutes. Test slurry ph. You may need to add a small amount of fresh soil to the container the test was made from.

Wow didnt look like a scrog. I guess its always a good idea to have a way to flush though. Lay off the nutes and use plain water for a while.

Good Luck

srah it's visible only at the plants that are under the light, the closest is the worst.

Is it possible that they are curlying because they are sensitive for co2? I have the same problem under the leds, so I don't think it's heat stress or something. Maybe to little fresh air?

have a nice day

I KNOW THE PROBLEM, its not getting enough air, so the leafs are turning upward and spreading and curling to get more air, get a oscillating fan on the plant and it will be fine, if not that, your light is to close, cant be too far it would make the leaves point down not up.
