AK-47 and Sour Jack, day 21

Hi folks.

Growing AK-47 and freebie seeds Sour Jack, clones, day 21 of flowering. Not the greatest pics, nor the greatest buds but something for the forum anyway.

Growing on coco coir with clay balls, full HESI nute scheme, 400W Grolux. Different sizes on pots, from 5L to 15L.

Notice I put a glass disc between lamp and canopy, this way I can run the fan at mimimum. I hope it doesnt cut out too much of the light, but with the 400W it should be fine.

Oh, and fan is missing, need to get a new one.

Think they will amount to anything?

Hey the cult, nice grow. I'm currently running Ak-47 as well, they are about two weeks from harvest and looking VERY nice. You are in for a treat if you finish those plants up right!

Q: When you are talking about the fan, do you mean the exhaust fan or the oscillating fan?

If you are missing the oscillating fan, that would be okay, but you still need to hurry up and replace it. It is very important to have an oscillating fan moving the air around the canopy, or else you run the risk of mold destroying your ENTIRE CROP!

It is also important to have an exhaust fan bringing in new air and cooling the room. If you do not have an exhaust fan and intake, the air in the room will become useless to the plants and they will not be able to grow. I cannot stress how important it really is to have a good exhaust fan.

What are you're day/night temps like? How far about the canopy is your light?

Its alright, its the oscillating fan thats missing. Harder to find in winter time. I have decent temperatures with the glass shield running exhaust fan at minimum, around 80 actually. The glass shield makes all the difference! The heat between HPS and that one is probably 95 or so. But I dont want exhaust fan to run on anything but the lowest, cause the carbon filter fitting the exhaust and the vent space doesnt take more than low speed on the exhaust.
Actually Im a bit worried about not having an oscillating fan right now as I fear the plants dont take in all all of the co2 without winds there is little air movement and the gas layer around the leaves may be static. Ill look for a neat one today.
Anyhow, when did your AK start to really bloom? I noticed a nice spurt over last night here, on day 22 now.

My AK started to get frosty like one week into flowering, but the calyxes(weight) didn't start comming in heavily until around week 4. I am going to be flowering for 60-65 days probably. I am working with two 600 watters above a 5x5ft ebb&flow, so the flowers are developing insanely dense. I will be posting some pics soon...

Scarification on AK-47. I accidentaly broke main stem some 2 weeks into flowering, but it kicked back and now it got a big scar.

Anyone finished Sour Jack? Im curious about approx time to finish so I can better plan the PK addition. Cheers all, cult
