Airport security measures

If it means staying alive, they can tell me I'm not allowed anything except my wallet and passport, for all I care. At what price safety? In my mind, there is a difference between "going overboard" and things just being a PITA. Sure it's a pain to not be able to even bring water but so be it.

It just makes me upset....I used to fly all over; to california, Colorado, etc.

You are right though, if it does mean staying alive, then so be it.......Just I hope they dont go overboard..

i'm not sure how they can go overboard right now. the explosive material the terrorists were going to use was undetectable because it doesn't contain nitrogen. so it's fairly easy to get passed TSA security. if i can't bring toothpaste on board, oh well.

Dont even remind me of this crap. I have to got to airport on saturday. There goes 3 hours of my life gone , waiting in line. Why did we give billions to the airlines again? I thought they were using th money to make it safe. Since 9-11 I dont think airports are any safer, i think we need that money back from the airlines

If I was rich Id just buy my own private jet and say fuck the airline. Ill bring whatever I want on my flight.

Hmm. All in the sake of saftey. But mothers being terrorists just scares me a bit.

Sure it sucks it some ways...but would you rather have a huge national disaster? Of course you wouldn't. But the same argument applies. Right now people are getting pissed at the government/airlines for increased security measures; but if they got lazy about it and another attack happened everyone would be saying, "Why didn't they increase security?!?!?"

All that said, I don't have to fly any time soon, so it's all good. :moon:

Perhaps if we stopped trying to piss of every arab in the world then we wouldnt need to have added security. But instead we got an occupy their land for no fucking reason and keep pissing them off. So now we have to throw a ton of $$ at airlines that still cant do their job, and waste more time in lines. I am sure arabs would rather do something else then blow themselves up, but since we piss them off at every occasion. We rep what we sew

I didn't read it Jamn...but hey, that's what the edit feature is there for, what matters is you were wise enough to get rid of it...I usually bang out my posts quick then re-edit the typos, bad spelling, grammatical errors, bad impressions and anger out

seriously though ...I wonder how long it will be until any person of Middle Eastern extraction or appearance will be banned from flying in the US by the current admin?

sadly and unfortunately, it seems to be heading in that direction...what's next? complusary ID arm bands for Arabs and Muslims

and I don't want to give any ideas to those maniac bombers.....but why go to all that trouble to get on a plane with all this security and awareness happening to try and blow it up ....at best, the angry crazies wlll only kill a few hundred innocents.......while a full to capacity football stadium or a large crowded train station at peak hour for example have minimal security and tens of thousands of more people?
