airlocks and vaportek 4000

Could somone please what an airlock is and if you could create one in a cab grow.

People always talk about using the vaportek 4000 in a sealed grow, but what about if your grow isn't sealed. Is there any way to use it successfully?

Any help would be appreciated.

my grow is not sealed, nor is it vented.

i use a vaportek 4000 with success.

classic neutral scent.

120 day cartridge.

If you have a sealed or semi-sealed room. Place the Vaportek "outside to change the escaping aromas. You may ajust this as needed. I found it too expensive to use my V 4000 is a door prop now, lol.

I use mine in an 8 by 8 sealed room with co2,I set in on 1 and it works great.It blows away the hydrofarm ionizers

i was wondering about this as well, if rez says they work then im willing to try them out. But can cab users effectively use a vap4000 (or other model) where do you place it? for instence i want to put my cab on my balcony, and will be exhausting out the top, i was thinking of creating a box to direct the exhaust airflow straight over the 4000, will this allow the vap to effectivly control the odor?

badmf why is the vap too expensive? is it cartriges? electricity? etc please explain.

Has anyone had success with the Vaportronic? It's like the 4000 Optimum but it's wall mounted and uses a D battery. It's much cheaper for the unit and cartridges too. I saw a eu grow video where a guy used one with a 1800w grow but I haven't heard any talk about them on the forums. If anyone uses one some info would be great.

no smells.

you can't even smell the bong water in the rug!
