air pump for vortex

I have everything but the pump...he says he is using 60lpm pump

But I was reading someplace else that 60lpm was being used for 15 gal this one I am building is five gallon bottle

Any digestions on size of pump

I would over compensate rather than undercompensating in this scenario... I'd go for that size pump maybe a little smaller but not by too much... wish I could help ya more man but I've never dabbled in vortex brewing. I figure it's the same as compost brewing where enough air is critical, but theres a fine line between that and over-doing it to the point of destroying microbes.


But if he's using it and it's working then mimic exactly what he's doing. If it's not broke don't fix it, right?
