air pump and air stones

What would the quietest & coolest air pump for a 33 gallon reservoir be. Don't want overkill but do want good airation. Not too concerned about price as much as dependability quietness and keeping reservoir nice and cool. How many air stones do I want. Is 30 liter air pump good march to reservoir size? Thank you.

IMO you'll achieve better aeration of your reservoir without the pH fluctuations and higher temperatures by just putting another sub pump in there to push water up towards the surface. That surface aeration is in itself a more oxygenating way to do it than subsurface oxygen injection. And it has the benefit of filtering and more quickly circulating your nutrient solution.

But that's my .02

I use Active Aqua brand in my titan kit. Two in the rez, one in the brain bucket. The kit was supposed to come with the maxi-jet 1200's but I chose to use what I had on hand as I didn't buy the complete turnkey kit.

I understand Ph deal. Is not using air stones ok with organic reservoir. Is it common and just as effective to use circ. pump for airation. Will get chiller to.

i would still use the air pump and air stone and adding the pump to move the surface sounds like a good idea its only more oxygen for them roots :)
