Air Intake?

Hello, I've got a 440cfm vortex (6inch) pulling air out of my flower cab. So i have a 6" hole for the exhaust out of the cab but I have 5 X 2" PVCs for the intake (completely passive). The Vortex is on a speed control, I'm running at about 2/3 power.

Is this enough (i'm beginning to think it's not)?
How much intake should I have?

Thanks for any advice.

you should have 3x the size or your exhaust exit hole for intake..

i use (4) 8x8 inch darkroom louvres on my cab with my 6in vortex

you need to do some math and find out the actual surface area of these circles and use that in your calculations because axel is right..

circles aren't like squares..

Thanks guys, to be honest I can't imagine what I was thinking but once the fog lifted it was all very simple. As a note to anyone using the search tool in the future who might stumble across this thread....

pi(r)squared...

not a revolutionary baking dish
