Air Intake Questions/Answers

I have a few questions about my air flow in my 5 x 5 room... room has a window with a window box mounted to it... I have a 6" cool tube, my 435cfm fan is pushing air thru the cooltube and out a dryer vent mounted in the window box. the fan is just suckin air from the room. ( i realize its better to suck air then push it but i had issues with mounting the fan,, not alot of room left so it had to go where it would fit and unfortunitally i had to mount it where it pushes air rather than pulls it... Then i have an aircondition mounted in its own bow, then mounted to the window box... the back of the air conditioner exits out the window box and im gonna put an inlet suckin air from another room to go into the ambient air vents of the air conditioiner... My main question is this... is the one inlet going to the airconditioner sufficient enough to intake the hole room...

wow now that i think about it, if i hook my only intake into my air conditioner then wouldnt i have to run it continuously to provide enough air to exaust my light... Any suggestions on how i should go about intakeing air to this room would be apreciated... keep in mind i need fresh air for my AC when its runnin, but i dont want to have to run it all the time... i figured the cooltube with good exaust would b decent on the heat, so the AC shouldnt kick on much...

Your tray is interesting! Got any plumbing pics? The rule of thumb is twice as much in as out. Probably need more fresh air coming into the room. I'm not a pro, just a Ho, so you might wanna see what everyone else says.

also i was curious if anyone knows, coula take that 6" 435cfm fan and hook that to my intake then run a Y out the exit of the fan, then run one section of the Y to the AC and the other section of the Y to exaust the light and out the window box...

That may work, although you might (probably) will have problems with on side of the Y splitter being as powerful or nearl as powerful as the other. It might still be sufficient though. Give it a try... splitters are cheap. Fans are not. Let us know how it turns out. Cheers.
