Well I am sorry, I should be branded for neglect. For shame......but I am in need of help my brethren. I am need of a industrial cleaner. She has gotten quite resd up. I have used the alcohol method in the past and even given it long soaks in the stuff but I still can't restore her to her org. beauty. So please given my your suggestions of strong, strong..........STRONG bong cleaners.

salt is key. don't waste money on gimmicky products.. nothin beats the iso/salt combo

Simple Green! Dilute it with a tiny bit of water...ratio of like 1 water for every 10 simple green, shake it, let it soak over night, shake it again, pour out the nasty green/brown/black water and rinse it for a while with warm/hot water.

Smells like simple green a little the first time you use it but after that its gone.

Sometimes my pieces get dirty when I have been smokin' all night and I just don't bother cleaning them. Easier to just keep smokin' haha.

hahahha gross, that is because it is leaving the oils behind that don't rinse out immediatly... when ever people try stuff other than iso/salt this is a usual result...
even grosser, if you don't clean it 100% you now have nasty things like simple green dwelling in your resin.

pure acetone or iso. and rock salt should do the trick...

Granted I paint but I'd never imagine using acetone to clean something I might smoke from. Is it actually safe?

And Simple Green is something supposedly "all natural" but I'm extremely allergic to it. I won't even have it in my house.

isopropyl alcohol and large chunky epsom salt or sea salt. or hell even grains of rice.. anything abrasive that can rub the crap off your bong.

I have tried the 91%iso before but never with the salt. I will give her a try tomorrow. But I doubt the salt is going to be able to get all the tiny little spots. I will post some results with a befor and after photo

i use hand sanitizer.
cleans it right up.
but if you can't reach where you need to clean with a towel or something,
than this wont really work unless you soak it for awhile.

I think that a LOT of table salt and some alcohol iso 70 or 90% work great too... Easy to find, cheap and working perfectly!!

Shake it like hell....
***I am not sure if this is really true... but I think it help*** Let it aside for the time you have to waste.... (the longer is the best)
and reshake again and again.

If you have something to "brush" in your bong it would be nice too! (don't remove the iso and salt)...

Rinse with clean water...

The bong should be very nice! After you could clean it with dishes shampoo too give him a shiny aspect :woohoo:

Hope it help!

Cya!

EDIT: But I hope it's a glass bong? If not I don't know if the iso*salt method works!!

get a huge ziplock bag and fill it to the brim with iso.

let the bong soak for like 3 or 4 days, just forget about it. i did this with one of my handpipes that was resinated and it came out looking brand new.

yep iso and salt... coarse or rock. straight up its the easiest by far. Done in 2-3 minutes. like new clean.. mines a bit streaky but its ok.

rinse some, with a soap if you want. I wondered if everclear could be used in place of iso?

If you maintain your stuff, salt isn't even necessary (I clean anything I've used daily).

I save the wash in a second bottle, it can even be reused. This suspends the oils in solution, while the chunks of ash and other solids precipitate out and you can siphon off the liquid, leaving the actual gunk behind. This leaves you with a gooey oil that doesn't taste bad at all, and makes a good addition to a nighttime bowl.

Much easier prevented then just smoking until it gets dirty as a fat lesbian mud wrestler. Salt and Acetone ;)

If I cleaned my bong/pipe every time I smoked, I'd have carpal tunnel :D
