im having some issues with pm or mights or something right now, so im trying to identify the problem and get rid of it.,and let em finish., this is 3 and 1/2 weeks into flower, its been a great learning experience for me, more so than the others ive done, (even the banana k.) i dont know if i can get anymore of this, and i wish i could have been set up to do clones but im not yet,( that is next paycheck, lol ), another 4 weeks, and the girls will be done.

Looks like early stages of mites. Good catch early. See the infirmary for info on what to do to kill them, as there are lots of options. When you see them this early its fairly easy to get them all.

neem oil (not sure on the spelling) works great for multiple things id suggest a light spray...really helped me.

Listen, Dear, I really don't think you have either mites nor powdery mildew. Truly I don't. Those dots are common, and are not a sign of a major problem.

Powdery Mildew looks completely different from your examples, and spider mites (spit on ground with disgust) look completely different from this, also. No worries. I'm pretty certain you don't have either one of these problems. cc

I'm also pretty sure that isn't Afghani Bullrider. The breeder, Jeff Tek has it guarded in a bomb proof shelter in the Fraser Valley of BC.

Michelle, his recently diseased wife gave my GF and I 2 ounces of it. I know what it looks and grows like. Not it.

hey Vag ......uuuhh ya......well the guy who i got it from is a local guru here in sandiego, and has no reason to tell me it is, what it isnt, so im not saying u dont know.......but ..u dont know, and i trust what this guy says,more than what someone says just looking at a couple of crummy pics,of it. ......aaaaand not only that, its not a whole strain., its been crossed with b.g., bullrider has been crossed with many things that are out there running amuck. so before you go bashing on my weed and calling my friend a liar, u might want to do some research for yourself,. thanks though.

No vag your wrong that is the san diego version afghani bullrider, jeff tek was growing it in SD but moved and had selfed seeds of it sent here .. he worked the clone a bunch with various crosses and backcrosses and came up with the bullrider he has now in lower mainland. I hear the original 12 week bullrider from SD is better than the 8 week afghani bullrider or any of the crosses..

i also know a guy who gave me some bud and a cut he claimed was afganbullriderXbg he calls peachmadness the bud was very very candy peach gum in flavor and smell, i would of called it suspect and not even smoked it but i know he grows primo dank and would never taint his bud with a flavor inhancer shit. it smells like the orange pk of trident the cut just rooted but is lookin very indicaish to me sofar.

thanks all, and vag, im not sure what i did to you, but its cool...whatever makes ur boat float, i know what i have, also i talked with another friend of mine yesterday who says he has A.B, mixed with something and he is gonna hook it up, maybe u are just feeling a little jealous perhaps?, that someone told you it was impossible to obtain the infamous Afghani Bull Rider,the thing is, i needed something for pain, (mutiple broken bones) and this is what i got, i didnt go looking for A.B, spacifically, it just kinda fell in my lap.and with the Bubble gum, it should work out just fine.

here is another little tid bit i found Vag., just so u know i am not trying to lie to you or deceive you.,and also i was wondering if you were calling all these ppl i ve seen growing AB on this site liars too? i think what the deal is, , ive looked at alot of photos of the b.g,and alot of pics of AB and im thinking aesthetically the b.g has taken over.but either way, i am one who likes to know what im smoking, and go out of my way to find out,and like i said, my friend is not a liar, and has a ton of knowlege about our local grow scene, so im pretty sure it is what i think it is., hope all is well in canada.

afghani bullrider origins.......
the only thing seperating afghani bullrider from myth or legend is that it is a real strain. it is a huge producer, very very easy to grow and clone, and it can finish in an astounding 36 days.....




anyways a little about the history. It is rumored to have been brought to the US as bullrider by a black bullrider doing foreign and domestic circuts. it was crossed here in the US with a large afghani male thus the afghani bullrider. a number of years later another famous grower (i am aware of whom and you all know him too) was given the strain via some sad clones which he grew out and faithfull carried on the legacy. (thus the clone only rumor) it can be gotten in seed and thats a quote from the mans mouth. he passed the strain on to others and due to it's slightly hermaphodite traits it has been furthermore been kept alive in back yards all over the country.

that is a very very abbreviated version of the story. i guess a certain breeder got ahold of it to analyze and try to figure it's lineage, the bullrider part that is. it is assumed that the bullrider acquired some shiva skunk seeds when they were first introduced in the 1980's.

so for those at home breeders at there, i would assume someone would be interested in breeding some shiva skunk with a large afghani male and seeing if you might get bullrider like results..

Vag was talking about the afghani bullrider clone that jef tek selected and hoards to himself up here in BC.. the CC article I posted explains it better. He is right that it's on lockdown but who knows the original So Cal afghani bullrider might be the same or better than the one he holds, I haven't tried them so I have no real opinion on it.

thanks mango, i am guessing that it might be an altered/different strain close but not the same, and i think people are growing bullrider only down here, (no crosses) i am trying to get my hands on one, i did read something about Tek bogarting the strain but like i said, there are some variations of it running around down here, i just got aggro with him flat out calling myself and co. liars, we have a very close loop here in which i run around in, and everyone is pretty knowlegable, but no worries, i know what i have . and im not here to impress Vag.

ya, i was hoping that would be the case, but not so far., her colas are still getting bigger, and all the hairs are still white.,after a month,( they went into 12/12 on the 18th of dec.) i will put up another pic next weekend, so she will show some more progress, hopefully., i think i was feeding em too much, and had the pH. too low.they seem pissed off at me for some reason, growth slowed down a bit this last week, or at least it seems like it, ive been checking em twice a day for the last week and 1/2., so maybe its just that im seeing them more and not noticing the growth as much, (like a kid, when you see him/her everyday, you dont notice change or growth as much as when you dont see em for a few months) but they are getting really sugary.

it's Afghani Bullrider X purple Kush, so i am sorry, to mislead you all,

i have been flushing since sunday, and will have a couple new pics in a day or two,

ok, like i said, here are a few new picks, if it holds true to the 60 days, then it should be ready in 4 more days, but to be honest, it looks like it may take a little longer, there are still alot of white hairs and the trich's are still milky, but i will see in 4 days.they seem to have changed quite a bit in the last 4-5 days,
