Afghani 6 weeks. my first soil grow.

Here is a afghani clone that I was gifted by a friend, I am not sure where this exact strain of afghani came from, but I started her at a foot there is hardly any stretch at all, not used to the slow growth, but I am sure the waiting will pay off. I am a hydro guy, never even grew a daisy in soil, but I am adapting well. The smell is a hash like smell, the resin is greasy and everywhere. How long would you let a strain like this go 8 weeks? less? Here is some pics of her so far.

ya man , its looking very good ; im a only soil grower/ organics , and my tip is let the plant mature for 7-10 days longer as you would do hydro ...and give em as much as 14 days flush , longer if you can you´ll like the taste i swear ya ...

I grew some sensi afghani #1 and took it at 58 days. Probably could have let it go a week more to get more amber trichs. After a few weeks in jars it was really good smoke, I miss it. Very creeper couchlock stone.

I would really like to know where she came from the guy I recieved the clone from doesnt know either, he got the clone from a friend and so the story goes. There are just so many afghani's out there, most of the seedcompanies have a afghani strain.

Id let that one go about 8 weeks. Shes looking very close now. But the only true way to know is a dope scope. Id take here at 50% AMBER....that would be a knock out high!!!

just checked out your pics again. I dont think yours resembled my afghani #1s . I wish i had taken some pics to be sure but mine had tons of small calyxes and very few leaves. They were pretty good yielders, one big cola and a couple chunky side buds. The buds were fairly sticky after dry and cure and one smelled just like limes, the other a more musky earthy smell.

Yours do like mighty good and frosty though! Whats the smell like?

Hey Scorpioking, sorry havent been around, to answer your question about the smell, she has a deep musky hashy like smell. I just picked a branch of her and will take some pics hope to harvest some time next week
